@darren853: Or something like a raw1000 (no typo)

I'd like to see Emil turn whatever that run-alongside thing was at 3:43 into a trick.
  • 6 0
I could see it Semenuk actually gives lots of praise to Emil

 @RedBurn: Rogatkin?
  • 1 1
@VPS13: he was in edmonton for a contest
  • 1 3
@WillHudson: I meant towards what he said as trek riders being so above everyone else
  • 2 4
@VPS13: yeah nicholi is an exception... I m sure trek would like to have him !
  • 3 2
@RedBurn: Oh I bet lol, I agree for slopestyle that trek has a heavy hand but getting into freeride and dh YT has a wicked team
  • 6 1
@WillHudson: He would never get invited to something this chill
  • 2 3
@Jsmith123: I assume you believe nicholi is not chill enough ?? Is this a joke ??? ??? Eek he's the smiliest / most peaceful rider I know, and then you have semenuk: contrast
  • 1 0
@RedBurn: nope with brandon , rdog, cam, emil and tom you don t need another one ????
  • 2 0
@clemson: you forgot Brett!! One more member only can push the whole crew forward Wink

I originally clicked on to watch this just for the finely crafted backwoods trail appreciation... And Semenuk of course BUT after seeing this holy f*ck how good is Johansson!? I can feel a rivalry stemming in next season's FMB triple crown title between him and Semenuk- just pure slopestyle porn- none of that "go big or go home" awkward boy bangers set by Rogatkin. (to put in F1 terms: Semenuk- Raikkonen (for his cool stance), Rheeder- Vettel, Johansson- Verstappen, Rogatkin- Maldonado haha) So Rheeder's got his work cut out! Messere continues to astound me by the amplitude he creates... like HOW does he gain an extra metre by the looks of it!? Just... let me pick my jaw up from the floor.

not sure if Brandon´s gonna compete, maybe Joyride only..Personally, I dont need to see him compete, if there was a new season of LBB ,that would be awesome! Just seeing him chilling with friends, and doing unbelievable things anyway..
  • 1 1
Those F1 comparison's, nice! I was wondering, can anyone who follows slopestyle do a comparison between those slope riders and some DH World Cup athletes?

at joyride semenuk said emils the future & 1-2 more seasons & hes gonna be winning everything. I dont see a rivalry there, Ive never heard semenuk openly praise an up & comer like that.

@anchoricex: dont give up on semenuk so soon

I remember what was hidden in this container last year, so video lasting 4:20 isnt accident Wink

Or how about the song ending with "you know what time it is..." and you look at the video time.. Wink soo good!
  • 19 1
Rogatkin can spin a 2160 and I would still rather watch Semenuk do a 360 Table fully tweaked. Emil Johansen is definitely the next in line as far as smoothness goes. Damn these boys can ride! To Hell with a judged contest, maybe the judges need to attends events like these and see what true skills are???!!!

It took semenuk more than 10years to become this good on a bike, only 3or 4 for emil. He is the new best rider to lead the sport.
  • 32 2
Ya and it took Isaac Newton years to derive the laws of physics, gravity, calculus, optics and so on. Yet now and days people learn that stuff over 1 or 2 semesters. Emil is certainly a phenomenal rider and i look forward to seeing what he does and how he progresses. However looking up to, learning, and then improving on what someone before you has done is easier than inventing the game.
  • 5 1
@Kywhite96: yes i never said the inverse, but emil is so good that when he will start to really innovates and open new door for the sport it will be awesome.
  • 5 1
@Frenchemetalheads: you have a point but you got to remember semenuk is not only the inventor of a lot of the tricks that Emil now uses, but also much more versatile. I'm not looking to discredit emil here, but semenuk is also one of the best big mountain riders out there.
  • 3 1
@asapyohanes: yes for sure he has a lot more experience, he is the king. But have you seen emil riding his downhill bike? When he will have the opportunity to ride big stuff he will for sure vlow our mind!
  • 3 1
@Frenchemetalheads: Fair enough I haven't. It will be interesting to see if and how he will make the transition. I can't wait to see those shoulder buzzers/inverted tables on a big bike.
  • 1 0
@asapyohanes: watch the video he has done for th video contest of Are bikepark in sweden, he moove his dh bike like a bmx

Semenuk and Soderstrom had a love child. They named him Emil
  • 11 0
Logan is the man, just a stylish canadian with a smile on his face, i hope he gets that one joyride Podium he deserves next year!

first i thought, nice, Semenuk bangers to close the edit, then this youngen Emil threw down some almost Semenuk like bangers,
  • 22 0
Brandon is still king in my mind, but I think Emil will grow to become the top slopestyle guy.
  • 12 0
I mean technically, he already won the fmb world tour! Emil is the man
  • 12 0
 Semenuk's 360 at 3 : 15... Prime
  • 4 0
Came here to say the same thing. Rad.
  • 5 0
Sometimes I watch Semenuk ride and it's so effortless, I know he's doing tricks but I'm not sure he's doing tricks. It just looks like a guy riding his bike... Does that make sense?
  • 2 0
Those jumps look like so much fun ! Not that I had the balls to actually ride jumps that size but still. Also I need more Semenuk, Peat, Johansson video content in my life! They look so relaxed whilst doing the illest shit on their bikes I love it !
  • 4 0
The un-turndown is one of the sickest tricks to watch, particularly when it's fully clicked. Emil and Semenuk execute them perfectly with backflips/360's etc. Nice work boys!
  • 4 0
griffin paulson is the most underrated slope rider there is. he's so damn good. double flip tuck just insane
  • 3 1
This is tasty piece of nasty shit down there! Next time bring Godziek, Lacon i Vischnievy. That would couse a serious brain damage!
  • 4 0
 Sick editing and angles
  • 3 0
The video does not do justice to how massive those jumps are.
  • 3 0
 Wyper's hits are the sickest!
  • 2 0
Emil is amazing as always, but Brandon at 3:00 is pure style. Nobody throws tabletops like that since Timmy Judge.
  • 2 1
that was mad. on the flip side, that music made me want to vomit everywhere. Thankfully Semenuk stepped in and blew my mind to keep my lunch down.
  • 2 0
Do yourself a favor and watch 2:45 a few times. So damn smooth.
  • 3 0
 4 minutes 20 seconds.

Good ending to a video.... end it with Emil Johansson!!!! Wink
