In order to explain what’s going on here, we have to first provide you with a bit of background information. You see, coming from a small European country like Slovenia, with an enviable potential for the development of mountain biking but an unfortunate bureaucratic barrier that slows it down, coming to a bike park like Whistler, with proportions and infrastructure so big, anything seems possible. Our excitement came as no surprise...

Daily visitor searching for some food.

While a small country like Slovenia can give you a lot, it can also prevent you from doing rad stuff as well, especially if you’re not that kind of a person who sets out on adventures on your own, and you don’t really know how or what to look for. The market is small, almost all the riders know each other and apart from a couple of individuals, traveling with a bike is still not as common as one might imagine. But sooner or later, progress happens, someone rolls the dice and tries to introduce something new. This time, it was our turn.

Banjo Action Whistler Edition

As a travel agency that specialises in sports tourism, Label wanted to offer an unforgettable experience by organizing a trip to Whistler. We are avid bikers and have seen a lot of the world already, but we wanted to share this with our customers, and what a better way to do it than by taking them to the world's most famous bike park. We knew that this was something that would stay in their minds for the rest of their lives and will hopefully inspire them for days on end, but what we wanted to do differently, was to show them more than just the paradise-like trails and the infrastructure. We wanted to also show them the surroundings, so that they could get a sense of the local vibes, their common lives and how something so big and amazing can exist in an environment, not that different from ours. The trip was a success and we’re already acquiring registrations for next year, when we’ll do it all again but even better, with a couple more possibilities and even more experiences than before. After a couple of trips, Whistler already feels like home to us and we can’t wait to go back!
