I can't believe that we are halfway through the BC Cup DH race season already, as it seems like yesterday that the team was building up all their bikes. Inside you'll find a little season recap for our riders and the overall BC Cup DH standings for all racers participating in the series. Big thanks to all the volunteers all over the province that make these and all races happen.
To date there have been races in Kamloops, Nanaimo, The Shore and this past weekend was Arduum. DH racing in BC is doing really well and the numbers are growing with 150+ racers at all venues and over 250 racers this past weekend on what is described as the hardest DH course on the circuit. Here are some team rider pics from the season so far:
Tyler Gorz in Kamloops
Cam Hilts on Neds
Riley Suhan on Neds
Alex Currie at Arduum
Cam Woods at Arduum
Darryl Bartlett at Arduum
Some team riders have even done some traveling out east for the Canada Cup and then to the US Open at Diablo Freeride Park. Fluidride Cups are know for their PNW roots and this year they crossed the boarder to Whistler, BC, where Tyler Gorz took home the win. A few even gave Super D a go and you can bet they'll do that again.
We just want to say a big ol' "Good Work" to all our racers that are doing the BC Cups and getting out there enjoying the sport each weekend!

Those sir are what you call "Canadians", they are of a rare breed, they all have the same first word.... "Eh". In the summer they can be found shredding slopes in canadian forest, and in the winter... also shredding slopes in canadian forest. To attract one, simply put a Maxxis tire on a fishing line, and surely enough, you'll bring them in by the dozens.
FYI anyone who reads that, I was replying to comment referring to the guys on the podium as retards. Please take this into consideration when distributing props.
