It must have been a trip growing up in BC. I'm glad to be here as a semi-recent transplant, but I'm sad I missed the 90's/early 2000s.

Kamloops in the 2000-2014 era was insane, just booters, road gaps, trick step ups everywhere. you could just push your bike up any dirt road or path and find some of the biggest jumps in the world. I'm sure most interior towns were the same. You couldn't stand anywhere in the city without seeing at least 2 massive cheese wedge lips up on the hillsides. The city cracked down on freeride and tore down most of the huge shit within city limits. The bike ranch is still the sickest bike park ever though so COK got that right

Man my frame broke down a month ago. This makes me go and buy a new bike before new frame comes back. I've been to Kamloops, but even Wrangler was too much for me. Maybe next time.
