PRESS RELEASE: Bicycle NightmaresBicycle Nightmares
started in 2013 as a blog, and to promote it, we sold a few T-shirts and hats, but that didn’t last long. The brand was diverted into a media outlet, focusing exclusively on content creation and only making T-shirts for friends and a small group of riders. We’ve been aware of the demand for our clothing throughout the years, but we were focused on other things. Eight years later, though, the idea of selling clothes is back.
The experience with our collaboration with Giro
in 2019 sparked our interest in product design and our aspirations for creating products are high. We now want to contribute to mountain biking and cycling culture with quality media content and ready-to-wear apparel pieces and accessories. More importantly, we want to keep expressing our vision and aesthetic through different mediums.
Our first streetwear collection, the ‘Unrelated’, refers to the seemingly unrelated worlds to mountain biking that we’ve always been attracted to and influenced by; the skateboarding and BMX culture, the music and fashion industry, art, and design.
We’ve sourced the best blanks we could find, most of them made of organic cotton and recycled polyester from sustainable and environmentally friendly factories. All our packaging is plastic-free, and all the graphics, branded buttons, and labels are screen printed, made, and sewn, respectively, in Barcelona, Spain. Working with local businesses gives us shorter delivery times, more quality control, and time to focus on the details to offer the best possible products.
The Unrelated collection is available now on bicyclenightmares.com
