Urge Supa Trail

At the start of everything and the origin of our sport, there is and always will be the trail. The wild, epic and infinite singletrack, we’re all addicts of it and it represents an everlasting quest for the passionate bikers that we are. At Urge, we’re pretty lucky; we’ve decided to settle ourselves in two of the most beautiful places on Earth, to ride this MTB dream that here becomes alive. Whether it’s the Colorado Trail in North America or the Trans Verdon in the heart of Provence, that’s where we were born and the reason why we created our brand.

Urge Supa Trail

“SupaTrail, born on super trails” and here is our latest addition aimed to protect you whilst you ride miles and miles of these magic trails. The SupaTrail, as you may notice, is directly inspired from the SupaCross from which it shares the same design.

Of course it benefits from all our technological features in terms of eco friendliness with the recycled EPS and straps.
Its visor in its pure “Urge style”, its nice color scheme and its multitude of small finish details give this helmet a unique and avant-garde design.
As always the comfort has been particularly worked on and the inner padding has been redesigned to optimize ventilation and obtain the ideal compromise between comfort and ventilation.

Thanks to its ring tension system and the addition of a larger size (XXL), this Urge is due to be a best-seller. The new Supatrail should finally cover all head sizes and satisfy many riders who until now were frustrated not to find a Urge helmet that fits them.

The trail is its kingdom, whether you ride XC, All-mountain or enduro. The SupaTrail is an all-around helmet which adapts to your riding style, as long as the trail is nice… Because, don’t ever forget, it’s all about the trail.

Although many people don't like the look of Urge helmets, I for one like how they do not look like any other helmet on the market.

I agree! But there are other helmet style you cant hate! (tld a1 is one example)

I have to agree with saxman2324, the fact that they`re doing something different should be applauded whether it`s to your tastes or not, nothing will ever improve and move on in terms of design if all the manufacturers (no matter what product it is) keep copying each other, I personally own an Urge Enduromatic and i have to say i was`nt sold on the looks but it is without doubt the most comfortable helmet i`ve tried, and it`s that, along with the protection that is more important to me.
If you don`t like, don`t buy, but at least try and appreciate a company that`s trying to do something different and in the process are producing some quality products.

i have an Archi-Enduro and I like it for the same reasons - light and compact; and most people I meet like the looks.

Ive worn out my enduromatic. Loved it. I think the supatrail will be next.

I too use the Enduromatic, i actually won it here on pinkbike earlier this year. its overall one of lightest most comfortable helmets i have owned, and my only complaint is that it gets a bit warm on hot days due to its minimal venting. This new Supatrail seems to have improved on that, and I would love to take one on a test ride or two.

I've always found Urge's designs quite nice. Definitely different that other offerings, and may not be everyone's cup of tea, but far from ugly in my opinion. I remember people dissing POC's products when they first appeared on the market because they were different. I don't hear anyone saying they're ugly now.

I bought my enduromatic from CR a year and a half ago 68euro on sales, normal price was around 90euro. Today the same helmet sells 92euro after discount!! Probably URGE became popular and they increased prices, if they want to sell premium with no real improvements thre are better helmets out there. And just to keep it relative souptrail is an ugly helmet.

If it fits, and takes a hit and doesn't make my wallet cry for mercy . Who cares what it looks like. As already stated gotta give it to them for NOT looking like everybody else.

I like that it has speakers on the back of it. That must be where the music in the video comes from.
  • 3 1
We'll that video really made me want one of their helmets...

Not fair putting out a video with such a nice scenery when we are about hitting autumn! Frown

I find it a little bit odd that the MOST IMPORTANT features he's presenting is eco friendliness instead of fitting system, crash resistant and ventilation.
  • 2 0
I think that's important. Have you ever unboxed a new bike? There's enough plastic bags and foam to fill a 5 gallon bucket. It's patently absurd.
  • 1 1
Have you ever unbox a new HELMET? Usually there is one small bag inside or not at all. As for bikes a lot plastic is put there for a reason and buyers/shop responsibility is to get rid of it in a proper way to recycle them.

I still maintain that fitting system, crash resistant and ventilation are the first things to talk about in case of bike helmet.

Not sure which is more ugly, the helmet or the page layout on an iPhone.
  • 6 4
Can you honestly not even contain your fanboyism to only one topic at a time? Don't bring that here.
  • 2 4
Yeah fanboys sucks! I hate them as much as those idiots who think xboxone is better than ps4
  • 2 1
You morons, I own an iPhone, I'm referring to how difficult it is to read this page the way it's laid out on ALL mobile devices.
  • 4 3
let's be honest, robaussie, you just wanted to point out that you own an iphone, OMG you are so beyond cool Big Grin

 looks cool!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just going too far. Keep it simple....

"Yeah, lets just put a visor on the Supacross and call it a trail helmet"
  • 1 0
Urge supa or bell super? Now that is the question.
  • 2 0
Add the TLD A1 to that list. I own an Enduro-Matic, it fits perfect, best ventilation of any product I've tried, no sweat in my eyes and the pads wash in the machine. BUT, Bell has been donating money, so, probably go with the Super and hope it can equal my Enduro-Matic.

Personally, I would consider the Giro Feature, as well. Simplistic, comfortable, and protective, all while still at a moderately low price; at least lower than the two you mentioned.
  • 1 0
Giro is in the same corporate umbrella as Bell (I think) and the Feature is a lot like Bell's new helmet, which I bought for my son. Can't remember the name but it cost $65.

Price? Unable to watch video, at work.

Didn't read the description....but I like the Speakers on the side!

 Is it #enduro specific?
