Behind the scenes with co-director Aaron Whitley on the inspiration that sparked the inception of Brandon Semenuk’s Rad Company. Aaron explains how the concept of the film came to be, from the first ideas to the parameters that were set to ensure that it kept true to the "all killer, no filler" style of the New World Disorder.
Pretty sure he's got pubes, guys. Quit being so weird, goshies.
This is the one thing I miss about DVDs, special features including behind the scenes and director/rider commentary. This is nice. Dude is badass, is he the first one to be featured in every segment ripping in a mtb film?
Super sweet and rad film! Really shows where mountainbiking is today. Also shows how talented Semenuk is on all the different bikes. The only thing the missed was Söderström's amazing style.
Best soundtrack on mtb film full stop but I was dying to see some more sections flat out. The one in the mud with Vink (i think it was Nico anyway) was awesome but too much slow mo for me. Best segment with Brendan by a country mile, flat out, cojoñes out riding with an amazing tune and some great spill shots at the end, superb
I loved Rad Company- I do think it was a little self-indulgent on the part of the production crew with the rain and fog but overall this film is indeed Rad. Absolutely stunning filming and clever transitions. Aggy is an animal & Brandon is a freak of nature. For me it's something to watch to get you amped for a shred. If you want a real story then watch 'I Won't Back Down'- now that's a full on beer and popcorn affair- you'll laugh, you'll cry, it'll change your life. Both amazing films.
Bought and downloaded Rad Company on Release day, NO REGRETS, Brandon Semanuk is one of the best riders out there, and does everything with some gnarly style!!
