@toast2266: It's a great prize but why do you have to be 19 to ride. What if you want to take your kid? And if it's due to riding ability I bet there's many children that ride harder than many adults. Some clarification on the reasoning please

 @Shred-BC: Insurance? Safeguarding?
  • 7 0
@Linkpin: A general dislike of small, noisy things?

I have no idea what I’m doing. But I used up the budget.
  • 10 0
I have some name recognition, hopefully that will help
  • 3 0
same, but i had to get neko in my team, im biased
  • 13 0
 @imnotdanny: I don't recognize your name.
  • 1 1
@noapathy: not what I meant, I recognize a lot of pro ATHLETE'S names.
  • 3 0
@imnotdanny: ya basically just blew all my money on those top guys that I recognize from PB articles.
  • 2 0
@klazzymoto: hmmm I tried to spread my money across the board, we shall see which strategy works.
  • 2 0
@ltharris: I'm not biased and have Neko in my team

I bet traffic on rootsandrain spikes when the fantasy round windows open. Best source if you want to overthink a dart throw.

This should have been a video

If my hypothetical team budget is $1.5 million, I'm curious how I can't buy the top two women, and four top 20 men, knowing what we all know about poor pro salaries now...
  • 9 0
Great comment @Jamminator - I bet it stings for a lot of the pros to look at their prices on here and think "yeah right".
  • 1 0
@chakaping: they are living the dream already!
  • 13 0
 awesome - well done!
  • 11 0
Missing Jess Blewitt. The ultimate dark horse.
  • 3 0
Całe here just to say that! She is on the start list. Come on PB, please fix this.
Actually, I kind of quit my job recently, so if you are interested , I'm free for hiring xD , I could do the updates for you Smile
  • 2 0
Exactly this. No Jess Blewitt listed. But a pregnant Rachel Atherton is with the injured symbol next to it. WTF, @pinkbike. Sort it out please.
  • 12 3
Budget the same but all the riders have increased in value..!!
Come in pink bike give us another £500k to play with..
  • 6 2
Agree. Some of these riders are a complete rip off compared to their past results
  • 9 0
So 2021 in a nutshell... pinkbike really keeping up with a game!
  • 5 0
 Get used to shortages.
  • 5 0
 Even fantasy has price inflation!
  • 1 1
Prices are messed up big time. There are people in the 200k who are barely top 30 speed wise.
  • 4 0
 @ORTOGONAL555: don't pick them then?
  • 1 0
@winko: haha No doubt! Price increases across the board in the bike industry
  • 10 0
So Pinkbike is out of bikes too, . . . . WTF!
  • 5 2
Surprised by the comments about budget, in the enduro league I put 1 top rider from each sex and then had nothing left over. In this one I have an absolutely sick team of recent podium riders with plenty of choice.
  • 2 0
If a rider is listed in both the Enduro and the DH fantasy leagues... does that mean they may race some of each during the season?

Seems like you gotta check the start lists to make sure your riders are actually riding!
  • 1 0
 Don't tell everyone.
  • 6 3
Great work, but some of the pricing is outrageous this year. Going to make the competition very hard.
  • 2 0
Love that Rachel Atherton is supposedly injured - that is, if injury means 7 months pregnant lol
  • 4 0
I reckon she could still podium, all that extra weight surely = more speed right?
  • 1 0
@rad-but-also-sad: would that classify as outside assistance?
  • 2 0
no clue what i'm doing but i'm just sticking with the frenchies, pierron and nicole
  • 4 2
Bernard is a STEAL! Highly undervalued young prospect right there
  • 5 0
 Bro don't spill the beans
  • 2 0
 LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • 1 0
How do the points work? Like is the podium very stacked with points whereas someone in 10th gets very few?
  • 1 0
 i belive the points work smth like this 250, 200, 160, 150, 140, 130, 120, 110, 100, 95, 90, 85, 80, 78, 76, 74, 72, 70, 68, 66 hypothetically the maximum amount of points you can get is 1520
  • 1 0
This is my first year NOT picking top male an female podium regulars an actually thinking aboout my team!
  • 1 0
Hey @dolores, have you decided who you're taking with you yet?
Look forward to competing with the rest of you for that Zeb.
  • 3 0
He/she doesn't need any more prizes. He/she is living large after hacking the Colonial Pipeline and collecting the $5mil ransom. @dolores
  • 1 0
@dolores: I may regret telling you this, but MVDP isn't racing the DH.
  • 1 0
@chakaping: that's what he wants you to think.
  • 1 0
I noticed that there are a few racers that are not on the list. Have these not been updated?
  • 2 0
 Gravity rools
  • 2 0
 Woo hoo ! Finally !
  • 1 0
Great prize too ! Thanks pinkbike
  • 2 0
 About effing!!
  • 2 0
 About time!
  • 3 2
Why is Rachel even on the list if she’s not racing?
  • 4 0
 >assuming PB actually updates the fantasy rosters

XCO fantasy has riders who haven't even raced in three years
  • 3 0
Perhaps PB can clarify how theirs operates, but I've been responsible for commissioning Fantasy League games for a large media outlet before and they've always been operated by the provider.
It'd be interesting to know if PB is using a mainstream provider's software or have their own code and operate it themselves - since they probably have more DH knowledge than the provider (but not more than us commenters, obvs).

  • 4 0
 He’s in junior
  • 2 0
@archiesgm: Had to look for, wasn't really sure as UCI page is confusing, but found out in the process he is running for Miranda Team.I find it quite amusing a Canadian prospect from Squamish has found a spot for running WC n a Portuguese team.
  • 1 0
@miguelcurto: pretty sure it’s because there were no other spots available on a team and he was staying with Trek too which meant he wouldn’t make it into either of the Trek teams
  • 1 0
 No Remi Thirion?
  • 1 4
He's retired from world cup downhill I believe
