My main man Byron "Diddy" Kitt and I sat down the other day for some much needed catchup time. For you who don't know him, Byron is a local ripper who has been riding bikes for 7 years now, everything from hardtail, to bmx, from down hill to cross country. This kid has been around the block, and has the style to show it. Read on for our interview and check the video from our park session too.
Jordan:: What is your name and why are you here?
Byron: Ummm, my name's Byron, aka Diddy, and I am here because.... I wanna live, I don't know. You came into my house, why don't you tell me why you're here.
Jordan:: Where do you call home?
Byron: I was born in Vernon, BC. Now I live in the Chilliwack ghetto, just trying to make a living doing 'mah thang'.
Jordan:: And what is 'ur thang'?
Byron: I'm a pretty important guy in the industry. Actually, I stack lumber.
Jordan:: What is the theme song of your life?
Byron: My favorite song would have to be Black Betty by Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was written about my mom, which makes me feel all warm and cuddly inside when I go to sleep.
Jordan:: So we could presume your favorite color is black?
Byron: Actually, despite your assumption my favorite colour is Blue, thank you very much.
Jordan:: Ok, so how often do you ride bikes?
Byron: Not as much as I'd love to. Once a week is about as much as I could get in now a days. You know, the girlfriend's iron fist has me caught up at the house. However, I used to ride everyday, and I wish I could go back to those days, if that's any compensation.
Jordan:: Awesome! I couldn't help but hear the name Sally today, what's that all about?
Byron: My little bike's name is Sally. She's my number 1 lover hands down. My hardtail is named
Brown Betty. She's my number 3, after my girlfriend (love you baby).
Jordan:: What is your favorite tech move as of late?
Byron: I'm a huge fan of the backwards manuals. I just bought the new Etnies movie, Grounded, so my mind has been running with ideas for tricks, but for now the backwards manuals will have to do.
Jordan:: Seeing as you have a girlfriend, would you say if I got as good at riding as you, I could get one as well?
Byron: Tehehe, maybe the 8 - 11 year old girls that creep out at the skate parks looking for friends. Yucky, those girls are a no no.
Jordan:: Time for an off camber question, doggy style or missionary?
Byron: It doesn't matter, sexy time is sexy time, any way shape or form.
Jordan:: Now that we got that out of the way, who has inspired your riding the most?
Byron: No one in specific, just the general crowd. Biking videos, little groupies screaming at you, the look on little kids face's. It all adds up for how pumped I get when I ride.
Jordan:: Rad! So, what's your favorite part on your bike?
Byron: My bike isn't divided into parts, that bike is part of me. Sally is mine, and no one can touch her.
NO ONE I SAY!
Jordan:: Ok then. What is the scariest thing you and Sally have endured?
Byron: Lately I have been working on the dirt scene. I'm trying to get tuck no handers to x-ups. Pretty scary stuff, but it will look sick when it's done.
Jordan:: And the burliest trick?
Byron: At the local park we got a 6 foot quarter, then a 25 foot gap to a not to steep tranny. When I get super stoked, and am not running 24-16 for gear ratio's, I like to giver balls into it, get like 7 feet of air, and just cruise across the pad.
Jordan:: Which one of these tricks has gone the worst?
Byron: I nose cased a 3.5 foot quarter, crashed on my face, passed out and had a 45 second seizure not to long ago. Pretty scary stuff, but what can I say, I live on the edge-hahaha!
Jordan:: What are your goals for your riding in the next years to come?
Byron: I really wanna dial a front flip. I gotta hook up with a foam pit to try one, but I can do them on flat ground so I think I got a good chance.
Jordan:: Anyone you wanna throw some shout outs to?
Byron: Biggie Small's.You know who you are.
Jordan:: Thank you for your time Diddy.
Byron: No problem, now get out of my house!
I can't speak for eveyone else on here but I like the idea of interviews and/or videos of regular bro's riding bikes. I know enough about the pro's in all the latest vids and the bikes they ride but its neat to see info on shredders that you wouldn't hear of otherwise.
Would anyone else out there be interested in that???
I just think its dope in general to see other peeps ride, forget the exposure or props! I'd just be "neat" and stuff.
please use logic before you speak.

ride everyday and hour talks about
religion and peeing in rileys sink
