Hello Fellow Canucks!

We at Calgary Cycle are excited to announce the launch of our new online store. It’s a project we have been working on for the last few years. Our goal is to provide the best products and brands at competitive prices to all Canadians from Whitehorse to Weyburn to St. Johns. For many years at Calgary Cycle, we have always put the focus on top quality performance products. Now, with Calgary Cycle Online we will be able to offer similar products at great prices all across Canada. The online store will also give customers access to great closeout deals and one time specials. Those of you who know us are familiar with our small location and our focus on custom bikes and fittings. Calgary Cycle Online allows us to showcase deals not normally available in store due to size limitations. The site currently has thousands of great products and we are adding hundreds more weekly. Some of our great partners include brands like Ibis, Yeti, Knolly, Chromag , Mavic, Ogio, TLD and many others. If you are looking for something you can’t find on our website, shoot us an email and we will try our best to get it for you at a great deal!

Just did a test purchase and it looks like they have awesome shipping prices. It is great to finally have a bigger and quality online bike store here in Canada. Now I just can't wait for a bigger variety of stock.

go on the website. pricepoint.com and chainreactioncycles.com have a much better selection and much better deals. calgarycyclesonline.com actually sucks!

pake, the whole point is that the store is Canadian.

are you going to pay more for a product just to buy it from a canadian store? plus, the selection isn't that great anyways so why not just go somewhere else that has it for a better price, let alone even has it.

The thing is that shipping will me much less expensive. I wanted to order tires that were on sale from JensonUSA but with a 24USD shipping cost I don't really save any money.

Yeah, the prices on the USA sites might be great, but toss in the shipping cost, possible customs fees and currency conversion and those savings pretty much go out the window.
  • 0 2
i did the currency conversion, Canadian dollars are almost equal now. but im sure you know that anyways since the economy sucks so bad.

J.P he is canadian so maybe it benefits him more then you think?

ya, us canadians really get tagged with shipping on things like forks, wheels, and worst of all, frames. its cool when you buy a bunch of stuff from the US that they can cram into a box and you have plenty of time to wait for the stuff.

that blows when you guys aren't that far, just inter-national.

~70¢ USD buys a Canadian Dollar right now.

That would be 90¢ USB buys a Canadian dollar. ( www.xe.com)

In that case, my converter is severely broken Razz

...PAKE; I just looked at the world cup boxxer on pricepoint, they have an '09 for 1600 USD, plus i'm gonna have that shipped through customs ($). Calgary cycle has an '09 WC for 999 CAD.

Am I missing something here? ...Don't think i need a converter to figure out which of those is a better deal?!?

yeah that's one item and it's a damn good price. but look at the rest of the site, it isn't a good deal, if they even have it in stock.

Understood, hopefully the selection grows as the site is just new!!

hahahaa you actually get to keep the goats? i thought you only got the two goats for ten minutes at a time.....
  • 2 0
don't know how much you guys earn in Canada but the Prices are pretty damn high if you ask me...
  • 2 0
Remember that 1 euro = 1.55 Canadian dollar

we run on the barter system. 2 goats (milking) for a wheelset is the going rate.

yeagh I now but even if you I calculate the euros to CAD the forks are cheaper than in Cananda... too bad i thought I could buy it oversee and would save some money -.-

949.99 can$ are 612€ - you won´t get a new 09 WC cheaper over here in europe Big Grin

Nice to see a Canadian online retail site for bike parts. I just bought a new cassette and got it at a better price than any US or UK site that I searched.
