Results: California Enduro Series Round 4 - Ashland Mountain Challenge

by California Enduro Series
Round 4 of the 2015 California Enduro Series was another epic enduro with 300 riders coming to take on the Ashland Mountain Challenge. Ashland is a rider dream location for riding, but the week leading up to the race was looking like crazy conditions for a race - the weekend before the race saw temperature reaching 105 deg, concerning enough that race organizers changed the race start to get the Sport and Beginner riders through the tough climbs early in the day to avoid the heat. The week before the race the sky opened up and was dumping rain in Ashland - riders were riding rivers of water down the trails and climbing in downpours - everyone was expecting a sloppy wet race. But come Saturday the sun came out, the trails dried up, and we had hero dirt for race day - and the race was on!

I've raced the AMC a few times now and had a blast every time! Thank you so much Bill and Sue and the rest of the volunteers for an awesome weekend, can't wait to come back

I've raced a lot of the enduros and this was the best run event yet with the best trails yet with no stupid senseless hill climb finish. The timing system was awesome and all of the volunteers were great, Bill and sue nailed it. Cant wait for next year.
