I wish they would just talk normal american...

a algunos nos pasa eso con cualquier video!

'Merican 'aint classy 'nuf. I also greatly appreciate the proper eloquent prose of a certain lad called Rob Warner.
  • 1 2
just ignore the subtitles, them french speak too fricking slow anyways.

Don't get me wrong, I love all the new flow trails, but the techni-gnar doesn't get highlighted as much as it should these days. Great edit and a reminder to go ride some slow techy trails.
  • 11 1
techy doesn't have to be slow....
  • 4 6
I have ridden there. It's way too slow for my blood!

Aggreed, Just got back from riding the shore for a few days last week. Was somewhat surprised at just how techy fromme is, lots of fun though.
  • 9 2
You guys are riding the wrong trails if you think the shore is all slow tech.
  • 1 0
Not all, but more than Ontario.
  • 2 0
I guess I should have clarified as "slower" techy trails.
  • 1 0
Kurt: I'd say they're riding the right trails! Also, Mistery DH got quite a bit of footage there, and that sure isn't a slow trail. But then, we're here for Shoreplay and Sex Girl kind of stuff, aren't we?

I never said the people in the video road the wrong trails. Some guy a few comments above me said to go ride some slow tech trails.
  • 1 0
I may have worded it wrong, I meant you addressed it to those who only ride slow tech trails, but I think that's the best trails on the Shore, so definitely not "wrong trails" :-)

I'm enjoying your video series. I ride on the shore, with a girl from France last week, and it's interesting to hear the perspectives and comparisons to your home. I'm stoked for all your Canadian experiences. Enjoy your tour!

If I went to those trails I would definitely have to bring my hiking shoes...
  • 13 2
 I like living here!
  • 13 2
 DH laps???
  • 6 0
I have never understood that expression either , unless they are riding back up the track ? Razz
  • 5 1
When they say that? Like that I would say that they meant downhill runs. Like you do 5 runs today.
Something like that.

a lap is just a circuit. pretty sure you can non-exclusively walk,swim,hike,crawl....or even drive! laps. so yes, dh "laps" is appropriate. nice try on the semantics.
  • 2 1
But the difference between all of your examples and DH riding is in the name , DH , you only do it while going DH , swimming has laps yes because you swim back to the start , DH riding no , you don't ride DH back to the top.

fair enough. (insterts foot in mouth). riddle me this. can a dh bike go uphill?
  • 2 0
Well they are gonna have to according to the info in the course walk Razz
  • 3 0
Can a DH bike go uphill? Yes, I did a 1400m vertical all mountain ride with my Cove Shocker Smile Ok, I had a high seatpost and a 11-36 casette and 32 ring at the front.
It was hard, but I did it Smile

OK, not the perfect bike to do this kind of stuffs anyway.

Fair play man that must of been a battle !

I was tired after the ride but honestly I was surprised to be able to do it. I expected a lot worse actually.

All my favorite stops after work when I'm in the area. And the reason why I go through the trouble of bringing a bike and gear on the plane from Atlanta several times a year.

Love that tech!!!! Got to spend one day with a local friend showing me around, so so so much fun. Will never see that in Cali, especially So Cal. To many potential lawsuits and or forest service. But then my friend visited me for a couple days and was jealous of our year round weather. So I guess we don't have it so bad, but that stuff is so much fun in North Vancouver.

 FYI

nsmba.ca/category/tags/trail-closures

There are also signs on the way up to CBC stating it is closed.
  • 4 0
I think this was shot last summer
  • 2 1
CBC poach. How does riding in snow f*ck up a trail?
and yes must have been shot last year.
  • 5 0
obviously mate it was last summer when CBC wasn't closed.. relax haha
  • 2 1
I prefer to ride CBC in the snow.
  • 2 0
I have not ridden CBC for a year but it would need 4 truckloads of dirt before i would ride it again, pretty blown out. There are way better trails on that mountain. To be fair its has some nice wood features still left on it .
  • 1 0
ha ha ha that's why I ride it in the snow. Hides the bumps. It used to connect into a wicked trail.
  • 2 0
A group of idiots cut down all the wooden gnar features on that wicked trail you are talking about, at least the hidden trail after that trail is still good to go thanks to being mostly rock.....Wink
  • 1 0
A group of idiots. Same ones that cut down live trees to shut down Aftertaste. Fortunately you cant shut down rock steeps.

Love your video series guys! Great edits. Looks like an amazing trip. Definitely wanting to check out these trails on the North Shore now!
  • 1 0
that must have been shot last summer as kicking horse wont be open for a couple months yet
  • 1 0
Yeah that's the hand built trails I was talking about! Glad you experienced North Shore Gnar!
  • 1 0
How do they go from Van to Golden and not hit anything in between? Silverstar? Nelson? Revy?

Worst road trip plan ever.

 My French co-workers says,fantastic!

 Formidable!

 No fromme love??
  • 3 4
Nice place and good riding . The French ,no so much.
  • 2 3
 Slow and boring
  • 1 0
On Cypress ride 'Sexgirl' to ' Never never land ' for a lap and then finish with a lap of the ' the 5th horseman' . Far from being boring if you make the runs still in one piece you will be on a high for hours after.
  • 1 0
Oh,I'd say it's awesome to ride. I love techy stuff. It's just from an entertainment point of view is all. Looks like a beautiful place
