Seeing how stoked these guys are to ride in a place that I've been privileged to frequent quite often over the years makes realize just how good we have it here Smile They should have went to Mt. 7 afterwards though. Nothing beats a top to bottom rip of 7 after a day of riding the horse. And props for making the slabs actually look steep.

and nothing like a terrifying rip down dead dog to put some hair on your chest.

is it me or do they look like they were riding on some course that was downscaled in size ? ...

0:54-0:57 how did they make that look so fake? It looks like a landscape from Thomas the Tank Engine. Great special effects!

Great edit guys! I've just added this to my bucket list!

You get that look with a Tilt-Shift Lens. There are ways to artificially get the look with after affects as well.

 Thanks for that.

Some cameras have a miniature effect built into them as well

Cool video, loved the music, a good reminder on how awesome Kicking Horse it. I would have to say Stick Rock in probably one of the coolest trails you'll find at any bike park. Looking forward to the rest of the videos in this series!

Thank you kicking horse for not supporting the extinction of wood stunts! There's no lack of natural terrain either. Juicy bike park all around!

like how he said "didn't want to get injured YET"

Saw the first bit of northshore and went "yeah i could do that, pretty easy! " 30 seconds later... "ah, maybe not!"

kind of a weird edit. But also whats with all the wood. the natural looks like it could be amazing.

Did you see their episode 3? That was also at Kicking Horse and I think contained a lot more of the natural trail, maybe why they had all the wood in this one?
  • 7 0
Thats just the one trail called Stick Rock its either all wood with mandatory gaps and elevated berms or natural rock slabs. There is nothing else like that to ride in the world I would probably say. I would say they do have a higher concentration of wood than most bike parks though, which is alright by me cuz it makes it unique. Kicking horse has plenty of natural terrain too, don't worry about that Wink
