 Seriously!! Miranda needs to be at more world cups, Canada needs some reppin on the ladies side, and Miranda represents, no doubt. Someone please get serious on the Miranda Miller support train and get her the top level support she needs. Go Canada!!!

 Is mountain biking only a 'thing' in BC? Not a lot of riders from other parts of Canada. Just curious.
  • + 9
 It's a thing outside of BC, but Canada is a large country and people from Eastern Canada would have to fly out with their bikes which is expensive.
  • + 15
 It's more expensive for people from Eastern Canada to fly to Vancouver than it is to fly to Europe...

 @SlipperyWhenDry: Bingo. There's a LOT of very fast French and Ontario riders, who have both podiumed at this event or won it. The problem is Canada is incredibly vast by ANY standard (we are after all, the biggest country), and there is little to zero support for racing in Canada. Just look at the results from Canada cups from both east and west coasts for comparison.

 @atrokz: 2nd biggest country
  • + 2
 @rockyflowtbay: ah right. duh
  • + 3
 Just gotta say, there are 2 Canada Cup races on the East Coast, Mont Tremblant, and Blue Mtn ( wherever that is?) Also there is Mont St. Anne, world cup. Expensive for West coast racers to go to the east coast as well.

 @rockyrider55: blue is this little bump in ontario with the sole equivalant of blue square trails anywhere else.

 @atrokz: you Canucks are funny. Half of the videos I see on here are from whistler/Squamish about some new team or pro with a coach. at least you have a DH World Cup in your country. USA has no support! ! ! Are the French you speak of illegal aliens?
  • + 1
 @atrokz: (second biggest)
  • + 1
 @expat: yea, forgot that what they taught us in school in the 80s doesn't apply anymore.... hahaha.
  • + 0
 @MX298: province of Quebec has a majority of french Canadians, there are other pockets of french speakers all over Canada also
