PRESS RELEASE: Cane Creek Cycling ComponentsIntroducing Cane Creek Small Batch 2020 - IPA
 | Western North Carolina is known for many things - flowing singletrack followed by rugged descents, miles of beautiful and serene country roads, seemingly endless gravel tracks… and really good beer—Sam Anderson, Cane Creek Cycling Components |
A staple of that regional beer culture is the “small batch” brew. These are unique and interesting beers that are produced in limited quantities for a limited time. They give both the brewer and the beer lover a chance to try something new and have some fun with the beer that they love.
This one-time run will have extremely limited quantities; notably, there are only 25 HELM MKII's available
This year, in honor of the brewing heritage of western North Carolina, we are offering our own small batch series of products. Starting today, we will offer our HELM MKII fork, Hellbender 70 headset, Hellbender 70 bottom bracket and crank preloader in a deep amber color we are calling IPA after the iconic brew. These products are available in extremely limited quantities and are only available factory-direct through
www.canecreek.com.

f*cking close to water
would pair best with a tatty Santa Cruz Nickel
Couple more edits. KTHXBYE.
Personally, I'd love to see a bigger resurgence into brown ales and alts.
Until then, I'll just keep drinking IPAs, ambers, stouts, porters, and anything else that tastes good.
Why? Classed as farm vehicles so about 30% cheaper than a saloon or suv!
I'll never get the terminology front fork. it's just a fork, looks nice though.
Funky road brakes in retro colors, beer-colored bits, rainbow Ti cranksets... better than plain black-with-boring-decals *cough* (RockShox)
Although to be fair it's still pretty much only the limited-edition brakes and things that come in lots of colors from CC... That's why I like Hope so much I think. Gorgeously machined loveliness that comes in pretty colors. No having to buy the most expensive set of brakes to get the color you want.
As for their brakes being cheap or not, you buy cheap, you buy twice (or three, four, five times...)
I know some people don't have the money or the need to but the nicer, more expensive components the first time around, I just don't mind waiting to buy the nicer things and not having to worry about buying them again for a Loooooooong time.
+1 on the more expensive and longer lasting components, I'm pretty sure I'll get some hope hubs on my next bike too, and to be fair I find them much more reasonably priced than their brakes.
That dad is gonna have to have this to make him feel better about himself since they're not impressed by the other lavish purchases.
i don't know what's wrong, CC have offered their forks in matte and glossy black, blue, red, pink, silver, gunmetal, white and brown so far... they're far ahead of everybody else's colour game.
‘It seems people don’t really like our fork’

‘Make it brown’

‘That should do the trick’
dude-bro" fork! Calling all lifted pick-up drivin' beer swillin' mtb'ers.
I hate IPAs as well. Show we a Porter or Stout instead.
They're a love/hate kind of beer.
@JSpeedy: I think you got something wrong about our Reinheitsgebot...we have some lovely craft beer/IPA in Germany as well. The Reinheitsgebot basically only says if there is anything else in the beer besides the basic 4 ingredients (water, malt, hop and yeast) it does not deserve that label.

When one hears "American Beer" they usually think of what is mass produced. Just like up here in Canada when one hears "Canadian Beer" they often think of stronger American beer. There's far more independent options on both sides of the border.
