For Immediate Release. January 19th, 2016. Hope, BC—On Monday, January 18th, an anonymous caller phoned in a tip to the Chilliwack Police reporting that mountain bike athletes Casey Brown, Cam McCaul, and five accomplices who currently remain unnamed are under investigation after breaking into Manning Park Resort just outside of Hope, BC. Initial reports suggest that the athletes broke into a lift station and operated the chairlift. After investigators took a closer look, they found numerous tracks left in the snow that they believe were caused by mountain bikes. Investigators are still trying to figure out why anyone in their right mind would be motivated to try and pull off a heist of this nature. There has been no word yet if the resort will be pressing charges against the suspects, all of whom have no previous criminal record. The investigation is currently ongoing and we will keep you updated with information as this story develops. In the meantime, the following video footage and photos have surfaced:
Special Thanks to Manning Park Resort for hosting us and letting us take over the resort!

so how long before bikes share the lift lines with skiers and boarders? And where do you get some Kevlar pants? Those studs will shed more than just your inseam!!!
Or a snowbike People have to try mtbing on snow. Whether it be pedaling on snowmobile trails and frozen lakes or packing out a short inrun so you can blast a few deep turns in powder, its probably the coolest feeling I've had on a bike. Studded tires are also pretty sick because worn out tread doesn't matter.
Oh and if this guy is on PB, good work hiking up to rip your snowbike at Canyons the other day! It looks so sick!
Man, I guess Cam just forgot how high security is for chairlifts. There's always at least 23 cameras watching the controls and another 19 watching the door, everyone knows that.
Wait a minute. Does this mean that I don't have to spend thousands on a fat bike to have fun in the snow? I can just use my daily ride? But that is totally contrary to all the hype. ;-)
Finally a situation I can be faster than them in! 69 MPH clocked with gps is the fastest Ive been on my snowboard, lets see them try to keep up with that! Ill make it easier on them too..ill ride switch! Although being a midwest kid who moved out to CO I still suck at jumps so they probably still got me there, but Ill kill it on the rails!
Totally thought some of the premier athletes are our sport had let us down, heart rate increased, only to discover the true nature. Should have been saved until April 1st.
or .... they should have just avoided the clickbait preamble bullshit this isnt the onion or buzzfag ... and i hope this isnt going to start a trend of bringing that kinda shitty writing here , the current writing is already bad enough to layer that shit on where you dont know what your reading by a title because its a "joke" the only joke is that people consider this a valid form of journalism or writing ...
It all looks like powdersnow to me. Would there actually have been icy patches where the sharp spikes would have helped? It seems like a circular saw in an a very uncomfortable place when you're hanging too far over the back.
Kind as it was, they would have made it even more credible if they left the special thanks out at the end.
umm so casey has a tooth in this vid? and in the trek press release pics she didnt?? anyone got any info on that? must have been a fairly recent thing...
Funny edit nonetheless...

on pow days....w/o studded tires...what a great excuse
to build a beater DH snowbike!
I can come up with a few theories
