What a great opening we had! Good weather, tracks in mint conditions and many of you who joined us for some laps. Thank you so much! This week the lift will open from Thursday until Sunday as it's a bank holiday. If you missed last weekend, here is a new chance to get stoked! Oh and by the way, the trail crew has already worked on the tracks to start fresh again on Thursday. See ya!
Ive always wanted to do the long outside berm on slab corner but have always bottled it last minute and do the nasty inside line to jack knife exit. But looking at the outside vs inside guys it looks so much smoother. Just need the balls to commit. Godamit!
@raph-champery: I'm guessing the budget too pay off the UCI.....Money talks with them!!!... It's the same as paying off the Olympic board to have a Olympics in a country! Its a dam Shame really corruption is every where in sport!!
@verticaljusticebiking: not only the UCI fee, but also all the logistic you need to set up for such an event, it's all at the organisator expense and it's quite a budget. In Switzerland the country doesn't contribute financially to those events.
Naw, you'll be alright. There were some single-crowners in that vid. Just ride to your ability. Would ride my Giant Trance there in a heartbeat rather than not ride at all.

@gaitafreeride: yop, I'm living in Fribourg. Lucky you, next month "Berra bike park" will open (15min away from Fribourg). We are 1h away from Champéry, Châtel, Morgins, etc. 1h away, you also have plenty of good stuff to do in Valais (Dorenaz, Bex, Crans-Montana, etc.) In Bern you have Gurten Trail (20min away) You also have a downhill track in Biel/Bienne and the famous jump track of Chaumont within 1h by car
The only way is driving.
Plan B: See about a rental.
