Chatel Reboul Jam: Day One

The first day started with training and unfortunately some crashes! The french rider, Franck Chauvet crashed hard. After one hour, the rookies started to be confident and began to fly over the lower part of the course.


The qualifications started around 3.30 pm. Two runs per rider. The pressure started to be felt, for a lot of the riders, it's the biggest slopestyle course they have ridden.




As is frequently the case in such a competition, the runners have spent the first half of the course jockeying for position. They have to ride big if they want to have the chance to ride with pros on Saturday.


Lucas Huppert (CH) and Mattis Konig (DE) let the style talk for them and take the 3rd and 2nd place! But it's Jannik Volk who impressed the most and signed off with a nice first place with some massive tricks like this superman.


Those three riders are selected to ride with pros and after a 20-minute break, the pros arrive to do their training and they are already on fire.





Schedule

Friday, July 22nd:

10am-12pm: Downhill race on the red "Komatrautrail" (The race is organised by the local association "All 4 Ride")
3pm-5pm: Jam

Saturday, July 23rd:

4pm-6pm: Jam (Best Line/Best Tricks/ Best Whip)
9pm: Awards ceremony and Live band.
