66Sick Espacio Libre FTD saddles. 129mm and 144m widths

From the Manufacturer:
bigquotesOur latest custom shaped saddle with the brand new FTD Ergonomics has been specifically designed for a moderate to an upright position, which is how you will find yourself riding for enduro, all mountain and sometimes cross country. The back of the seat is shaped very flat (no sloping sides) to give the sit bones the support they need to not slide off the sides from the saddle. Due to the direct support for the bones, the pressure in the perineum / genital area is enormously reduced and transferred to the sit bones. Our 3WayCompound makes it even more comfortable, the bottom two layers are firmer than the top layer to maintain stability and prevent further sinking into the saddle - no more numbness! The top layer is a little softer to absorb pressure peaks off the sit bones. The narrow nose aids control on descents, as well as on uphills. Manufactured by the infamous Selle Italia!

MENTIONS: @LizardSkins / @ninepointeight

I really like the idea, but I still can't wrap my head around two pieces of foam costing that much.
  • + 26
 because of science !
  • + 14
why not just buy 2 pool noodles and do away with the air altogether, never going to puncture then...
  • + 8
Ha, I think it's just really one piece of foam, cut in half....
  • + 2
@karrot989: When i first read that i thought it said 2 pot noodles!
  • + 2
Well I actually tried to wrap those piece of foam around my head and it worked ! Just kinda weird looking

When did basketball shoes become a thing?
  • + 28
 Since Jordan, brah.
  • + 8
Right around the same time bio pace came back from the dead
  • + 3
Air FR-01 just doesn't have the same ring to it
  • + 3
I would love to try them though. I don't like riding in pants, and I wind up getting enough water in my shoes that I have to stop mid ride to ring out my socks. For the price though I will pick up a set of trail running gaiters to compliment my 5.10s.
  • + 9
be thankful its not those stupid yeezys
  • + 2
@viatch: MTB Flat pedals would eats up Boost soles in a day!
  • + 11
@btustison: you don't like riding in pants? Is commando the new enduro?
  • + 2
  • + 21
One oddly shaped price for that chain ring!
  • + 8
It looks like it'd murder a clutch derailleur
  • + 19
That growler though. Long live beer rides.
  • + 6
Honestly the best thing in this month's checkout is that. Pretty good price for endless good times.
  • + 6
 have you seen this yet?

You're welcome.
  • + 22
Growler must mean something different in Canada. A growler in the UK is a hairy minging pussy that you would not go down on. You would not want to drink from that...
  • + 3
@asboites: get the f out of here!!!that shit is dope!
  • + 1
@asboites: The drinktanks growler has an add-on keg tap that would achieve the same thing from the looks of it. Both options look sweet. Construction on the drinktanks looks solid, but I don't know about carrying 128 oz into the woods, might be easier on the back to go with the smaller trailkeg.
  • + 1
@ilovedust: At 128oz, by the time you finish drinking all that beer/magarita/whatever, everything looks like an ice cream sandwich.
  • + 1
@ilovedust: Just let some Staffordshire ferment inside of it for a few weeks in the warmer months and maybe it'll get to that smell making you feel right at home.
  • + 1
@asboites: I've seen those, they're certainly a nice piece. I just like this for the simpler design for biking. I'd rather carry that on the bike than an awkward six pack or other loose containers to deal with.
  • + 1
 @ilovedust: have had brilliant
  • + 12
 "Actual scientists"...well you've convinced me!
  • + 13
 $70 gloves?
  • + 5
 MSRP, brah.
  • + 7
At 50% off, that's still overpriced. Brah
  • + 2
Made from pig leather so u know they can handle the slop i guess.
  • + 2
I just read on Huck Norris page: "Norris will absorb as much energy from the impact as it can, and then cells in Huck Norris will break if the impact is hard enough, almost always still saving the tyre and rim".
Does that mean you have to replace that thing if you hit a few stones hard?
  • + 2
no. the chances of hitting exactly the same spot seems slim. I have not had that issue. see my post below. Instead of the awful "ting" of your rim on a rock i get a muffled thump and no flat.
  • + 3
They feature the 9point8 remote and skipped the Wolfstooth one, that is i-spec or matchmaker and much nicer if you're running a 1x set-up.
  • + 2
These are paid ads, but the fact the wolftooth is constantly sold out isn't helping.
  • + 2
@groghunter: Call them. I called to ask for an eta on when the i-spec b version would be back in and they actually had them, even though the website said sold out. They are a really nice piece of kit.
  • + 3
I know what they're for but do Huck Norris allow you to ride with flat tyres?. I mean if you get a puncture?
  • + 20
You can't get a puncture, the rock does!
  • + 0
@sweet-bike: lol Smile what if you ride over a nail?
  • + 28
@silverfish1974: The nail gets a puncture and has to walk its iron-zinc ass back home.
  • + 1
i have one in the rear tire. I had gone through 3 rear tires in 2 weeks due to pinch flats. the hucknorris has allowed me to drop from 32psi to 27-28 and I am still on the same tire 3 months after. As for riding airless with it? idk. it seems like youd shred it. i took my tire off and looked at the condition the other day and there are multiple slashes in the hucknorris already but it is still working. to ride on it for any length of time would surely do some damage. cool thing is i dont need one in the front so i still have a brand new one.

$109US / $145CDN for a Thermos? (checks weekly Canadian Tire flyer) Hey, look at this one in double-wall stainless steel for $38CDN.
  • + 2
 ...38$ for a thermos?
  • + 2
My ass hasn't forgave me for trying an 66Sick saddle for the one ride I had it on. Immense pain for a high price.
  • + 1
That growler sure seems to be enjoying himself... Talk about power of suggestion
  • + 1
Nothing to do here Big Grin
  • - 1
A good idea and looking good quality with low price I am really interested in buying it.
