Claymore went down this past weekend, check out some final photos and quotes from Semenuk and McCaul from the event at Highlands.

Report inside,Highland Mountain Bike Park Owner- MARK HAYES
"The 2010 Claymore Challenge was our best to date – the highest number of spectators, the biggest jumps and the most amazing tricks. I’m psyched Highland Mountain can provide a legitimate venue for people to learn what’s going on in mountain biking today. Highland is proud to be part of the FMB tour and we’re looking forward to next year when we knight the next heir to the Claymore sword.”

Claymore Challenge Course Designer and Pro rider- DAVE SMUTOK
"I can’t believe it’s over, all the anticipation was well worth it, and once again the Claymore has exceeded my expectations. From the riding to the TV production is was all top notch and I am proud to be working with all these great people. Can’t wait till next year.”

Winner- BRANDON SEMENUK
"Excited to swim with the beavers for the second time! Was a close battle between Cameron and myself during our second runs. Cameron was riding awesome all weekend and knew he was gonna put on the pressure".

2nd Place- CAMERON MCCAUL
"It was great to be back at the Claymore challenge after winning in ’08 and being out last year due to an injury. My Trek Team-mate Brandon Semenuk won last year, and I knew I’d have to up my game if I wanted to try to win again. I qualified first and was sitting in 1st after the first final runs, but I knew Brandon had some stuff up his sleeve for his second run. He pulled out a banger run and bested me by .25 points. I let it all hang out in my 2nd run, but crashed on the last jump. At the end of the day, Trek snagged 1st and 2nd so we’re stoked!”
