PRESS RELEASE: Coeur d'Alene EnduroCoeur d'Alene Enduro is excited to announce the official race courses for two days of ripping on Canfield Mountain, located just minutes from the center of beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on July 7-8, 2018!
DAY 1:Day 1 is going to feature 4 stages in a loop that mixes a little bit of everything from fast flow to rocky, rooty, and rutty. Racers will start the day with a climb to the top of Canfield Mountain to start Stage 1 (Trail D) down to "The Island." After a short hike-a-bike, Stage 2 (Trail D Traverse) gets a little punchy with some fun rocks and flow before moving on to Stage 3 (Trail 10), the longest stage of the day. Racers will then finish Day 1 with the area's iconic Cave Trail before riding down back to the Jacklin Property for a lovingly prepared dinner by Mountain Cafe for all racers, volunteers, and sponsors. After dinner we'll light up a bonfire and relax with beverages provided by Radio Brewing.

DAY 2:After a good night's sleep, racers will wake up to fresh-brewed joe from Coffee Roboto and breakfast burritos prepared by Franklin's. Day 2 of racing gets a little spicy with two of the mountain's rowdy fall-line trails. All racers will start Stage 5 on (appropriately) Trail 5, and the expert/pro classes will climb back up to the top for a Stage 6 bonus lap down the extra-sketchy Trail 1, into Trail 3, to finish off a proper top to bottom stage totaling 1,800 ft of descending. In the meantime, Sport class riders will continue over to their Stage 6 (Lower Trail 3). From there all racers will cruise back down to the Jacklin Property and make their way up to the top the final blind stage: Wade's Trail. They'll race down to be greeted by a finish line corral and crowd of hollering spectators to cap off the inaugural Coeur d'Alene Enduro. Day 2 elevation totals: 3,400 ft of climb and descend for expert/pro, and 2,400 ft for sport.
