PRESS RELEASE: Crankworx

Crankworx Summer Series Canada is coming to the Québec City region, and to not one but five mountains in five days from September 1st to the 5th. Much like the first stop of Crankworx Summer Series Canada at SilverStar Bike Park, this final stop of the series will bring together seasoned pros and up-and-coming amateur riders of the region to compete in one (or more) of the five events on deck. There’s still time to register to compete and races are open to all categories, or simply come check out the festival and these five incredible riding destinations of the region, whilst cheering on the athletes and enjoying the region’s legendary après-bike! Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know if you’re coming to la belle province for the final stop of the Crankworx Summer Series Canada this Labour Day weekend.

This five-day event gives athletes and spectators the chance to discover the five major mountain bike centers in the region, offers kids the chance to learn and excel in activities designed just for them, and the opportunity for local heroes to shine on a national-level on Crankworx-calibre courses and competitions open to all. For more details on last minute athlete registration, visit here.

From the first stop of the series at SilverStar Bike Park, British Columbia, to now the upcoming final stop here in Québec City, athletes are competing to collect as many points as possible for a shot at winning a piece of the $7500 CAD series overall prize purse.

Participants also have the chance to earn a spot with the pros as first and second place finishers in the Air DH and Dual Slalom events earn an official invitation to Crankworx Whistler 2023. Sounds tempting doesn’t it? You can still register here!

Athlete progression is the cornerstone of all Crankworx Summer Series Canada events, including the Kidsworx events for the groms (6-12 years old), beginners or advanced, to come practice their bike skills at Le Massif de Charlevoix this Sunday, September 4th. Register here for free for your kids to shred with certified mountain bike coaches and ride with the pros, Bas Van Steenbergen and Keegan Wright at Kidsworx day at Le Massif de Charlevoix.
