Once again, no camera in the larches. That's where the race is won and lost.

Hope it's more than the gate and the finish.

It's Crankworx. Of course it will be the gate and finish. How else can they show 30mins of riding and an hour and a half of Cam McCaul in a two hour broadcast?

Not really looking forward to it because as @neimbc mentioned, it's probably going to be just the gate and finish, like all the other Crankworxs

No disrespect at all.... But Needles needs to go. His commentary over the last week was flat. Despite his vast experience and knowledge. Sometimes that doesn't translate into being a decent media personality. Sorry but he was hard to listen to.

I really like having him up there, very pleasant to listen to. Good counterpart to cams drama emphasis. For me a good mix with the two.

I personally find Cam Ms tone grating, combined with the north american style commentary of constant gibbering makes him really hard to listen too for more than a few minutes.

 @Braindrain:
i know what you mean..it feels a bit acted and exaggerating sometimes which may feel not a 100% authentic. but on the other hand i always try to take the people however they are and be ok with it. I talked to him once at crankworxs in les gets and he took his time. was really nice talking to him though.

Not everyone can be Rob Warner.

Alot of forced boring conversation to fill the time, and then exaggerating the excitement of nearly everything. The FIM e bike race last year had better commentary.

@DoubleCrownAddict: I agree, they (Needles and Cam) simply talk too much. Brooke and Elliot hardly got a few words in.

lol, imagine being sponsored by an oil company! no heat its good for her but it's a bummer they are getting their hands into Mtb
  • 10 10
not any worse than having red bull or monster as a sponser

@mtb-scotland: actually much worse looking into climate crisis. Bikes and oil? Wtf?
  • 2 3
@dj100procentenduro: bikes need lubrication. oil products are part of life. We are not getting any from them any time soon.
  • 2 2
@mtb-scotland: What about putting casings over the chain, keeps oil on the chain where is doing the job
Can even use better oil that sticks to the chain & does not get dirty?
  • 6 1
@mtb-scotland: It's far far worse than an energy drink as your sponsor. It's not even vaguely in the same ballpark as the oil industry.

@aljoburr: @mtb-scotland or just b normal and say fk off to climate change
