@Skjalg: I find General all over the place now in Seattle—great after ride recovery aid and you don’t even need to have a gatorade bottle around. I hear that General is kind of the cheap light beer of the snus world, but I still like it.
"The judges are gonna have to leave some padding here." Talking about scoring Carson Storch's run. IMO every rider should do their first run, THE JUDGING SHOULD TAKE PLACE AFTER THE FIRST RUN! We have the technology to actually compare their runs side by side by side. To me this is the only fair way to judge a contest where they all have individual lines, skills, style, and are literally putting their lives on the line.
They're trained to use those scores as benchmarks. As they say, its not about the points but getting the best placement. It'll never be perfect. He should have placed higher.

@BenPea: I had Semenuk for the win in the Fantasy contest. The guy is so clinical, stylish & creative it's unreal. Unfortunately I had Brendog 2nd and Ethan 3rd. My boy is Brendog mad since he saw the push-ups on the Rock.
Brendog's line is the most creative and hardcore line I've ever seen! Traversing Canyon gaps with sniper landings, the Rock, the Death Chute... Amazing.

As a former windsurfer I always got the event on hold for lack of wind, now as a biker all the way around. Please wind, can you just stop f*cking my life?
I wonder if Red Bull has a weather window, similar to the WSL events. If the wind doesn’t die down by 3pm Mountain Time today do they run it tomorrow and if the wind sucks tomorrow would it be held on Sunday?

Dope event! Insane to see so many clean runs and how everybody fits in the rankings after making runs. Brendog's the man for Rough AF push ups. Definitely thought scoring was on this year and it seemed like most of it came down to how clean a run was. Makes sense why Godziek didn't score higher. Thought Brendog could have won but Semenuk also had a dope run. Thanks to everyone that puts this on. A biker's Christmas!
I've always been curious why Rampage doesn't run like surf events with a days long window so the best day can be selected. Wind on comp day always seems to be a thing.
From aerial views it seems the course is more slopestyle with smooth jumps and landings. Makes for a good show with massive tricks.
My question is: Does all this digging and shaping make the course safer for the riders? Compared to say the 1st Rampage when it was all raw and riders dropping in any direction.
I don't know if anyone mention it but I saw seminucks run which was amazing of course and he is the pride of Squampton. I'm a BC boy but I really don't know where that place is. Maybe the NBC /American /Trump reporter /fake news announcers can help me with a map of where that is. 1:04:00
There were no wind delays back in Bender’s day. Mother Nature cooperated because they left her raw. Now she mad they makin’ her into a slopestyle course.
