Cam McCaul is doing a great job! Good to see him get the chance to build the next career. His combination of elite rider cred, natural charisma, and rapidly developing acting/announcing talents are serving him well, and are refreshing compared to the generally lame MTB event announcing we have endured for years - Rob Warner of course being the notable great exception.

And I've got to give credit to Brad J. He used to be terrible and so over the top with the cliches, but seems like he's listened and learned. No more "shut the front door," etc. just sticks to his host job, and does well at it. It's a good combination with the two of them. More Cam at more events please.

Cam and Brad had awesome chemistry in the booth. Brad has gotten alot of criticism over the years, but i think this event was a testament to the importance of the chemistry of the announcers. They were awesome together! Also, props to Hannah for doing a good job. Not only was she cute(every sporting event needs a cute interviewer) but she did a proper job on the interviews, she didn't skip a beat! This is the kind of coverage mountain biking needs for the mainstream media outlets to take it seriously. Bring everyone back next year!

It is the biggest honor of my life to be able to work side by side with a legend like Cam McCaul. You are all right Chemistry is so important and working with Cam makes it easy! I gotta be honest sometimes I even get nervous because I am standing side by side with such a legend. I feel pretty dam fortunate! Thanx for the kind words, I will continue to try harder in delivering a better show.

I actually came down here to the comments section to show support for Brad J, so it's nice to see others before me agree. I know he's received a lot of criticism this year and I don't think it's warranted. He's entertaining and authentic to himself. I also couldn't imagine Joy Ride without his commentary. What I believe we're seeing here is his professional growth. I don't want to see him loose his humour, but his knowledge of the riders and series has really brought the whole programming up a level. So big props to him.

I just wanted to update for a congrats to Hannah as well. She pronounced riders' names correctly and managed to move through more than one awkward rider interview (although she did say 'Spanks' instead of Spank Components). All in all, a great job.

Please note there are two Brad's, Brad Jay who you see/hear throughout Crankworx as the host announcer and Brad 'Shut the Front Door' Ewing who you see/hear on Saturday for Red Bull Joyride.
