My family has slowly turned into a Commencal family. Everyone in my family has a Commencal bike except for me! My wife rides a steel "Girly". My 2 year old cruises around on their balance bike. My four year old has just graduated from the balance bike to pedaling around on their Ramones 16". I think there might be Commencal bike in my future as well...

How in gods name did you get negs for that? Fair play man, I've often thought commy is a brand I could go to for any type of bike I wanted. I feel some commencalove coming too.

Same here. I'm currently trying to find my dream frame (supreme 6). And pass to the commencal clan.

I'd spring for a Meta SX if it had a bottle mount, I can't stand hydration packs and I never bring tools/spare tubes with me because my riding is 5 minutes away from my home. I love my supreme dh v3 but I've outgrown it Frown

I love Commençal. Started with a Normal hardtail, currently ride a Meta SL and a Absolut SX. Love em!

I ride the Meta SX Hardtail and I absolutely love it. I'm looking for at the full suspension meta

Now I want a family too. I would buy all members a Commy bike.

The new crop of kids bikes are wicked. But I don't have a kid. Hmm, have a kid so I can buy it a bike? Not sure that's the right reason, although if there's anywhere that sorta logic could fly.. it's here on pinkbike lol
  • 6 5
At least you're thinking about giving the kid some cool toys and being able to share your passion. Here in the US, its not uncommon for people to have kids for profit (increased welfare checks, more tax breaks, child support, etc). Sooooo many lazy fks living off my hard-earned tax money.
  • 7 5
The laziest fks in society are.. dun dun duuun.. the '1%'. The private banks more accurately. They suck far more money out of society than all the benefit seekers worldwide combined. They've literally tricked the world into their pockets with the biggest fraud in the history of mankind. So whilst it's annoying that seemingly so much 'tax' is wasted on people who half the time aren't grateful, remember, you live in a collosal psy-op, there is no 'money' really and they use divide and conquer to de.. va.. stating effect so the majority of people never look up and see the robber barons who have f*cked us all. I hope their day will come. Because frankly it will mean way more time for riding bikes with ya kids. The end. Thanks for reading. You are infinitely more powerful than you know. We created, own and hold up everything. Power to the people.

Most rich people worked hard to get where they are. MOST, not all. On top of that, having excess money=investing=making even MORE money. Just so happens that when you are on top, you can pay others to work for you. Thats smart, not lazy.

On the bank portion. If people spent wisely, they would not waste a dime to banks. Its because of consistent irresponsible spending that banks have such high penalties and interest rates. They know majority of people spend more then they have so its easy money in their pocket. I wouldnt say its entirely ethical but you are made aware of the risks and penalties of borrowing money when you sign up for a credit card. This goes hand in hand with the having children part. I know its not always planned but children are a big reason why families struggle. Then you have single parents...

Your first paragraph highlights that we are obviously not talking about the same group of people lol. And the reply as a whole highlights that you don't really get the basics of our economic system. But let me assure you, this is no slight on you whatsoever, I have questioned PhD students and doctors and high level bank staff alike.. NOBODY is taught the basics of our economic system. For very good reason.. it's staggeringly simple and it would end tomorrow if people knew. Your statement of 'I wouldn't say it's entirely ethical' did make me chuckle though, brightened my morning! You've got that right bud, it's the biggest crime ever. It's filthy, disgusting, fraud at best. But yeah, I imagine you don't understand.. BECAUSE it's the most slick lie ever devised. And very well hidden in plain sight.

Thanks dude, appreciate the support massively. It's a pretty unpopular topic with most people but hey, humananity is more important. Whenever the negativity comes a flyin' I remember this Arthur Schopenhauer quote...
'All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident'.

Hold on, can that be applied to 650b's? Lol. I think so. He did say ALL truth Wink

Well that was absolut-ly awesome, I would go as far as to say it was supreme

I love how those 2 brands (Commencal ąnd Marzocchi) both came back with a bang and how mint their DH rig is with that espresso fork 3

I purchased a commencal ramones 20 for my son this summer, I was very disappointed when we discovered it did not come with the 2 speed automatix hub that had been advertised, instead it came single speed, so now my 5 year old is stuck spinning 100 rpm downhill and barely able to grind uphill... probably wouldn't recommend buying it if you have hills anywhere near you... I called their american support group several times and left them emails and never heard a thing from them. The price is very steep for what you get

No Supernormal? I've been looking at that one for a while now, was a little bummed not to see it in action here. Still, awesome video, much better music than we're used to Razz

Where's the Supreme FR? I currently ride a 2013 FR and it is probably the most fun bike I've ever ridden.
  • 1 0
 The supreme park replaced it
  • 1 0
Interesting... So they're not offering a 7" bike anymore...

Out of all the bikes I've previously owned, my favorite was the Absolut 4X. The build quality and the ride was amazing.

Just built one, you're not wrong, it's awesome.
  • 1 0
Correction, it just got stolen, so I'm back to no commencals. Bugger.
