The new race course for 2015 at Klondike Bluffs will include four timed stages descending approximately 3,000 vertical feet with a total mileage of 29 miles for the open and expert categories and three timed stages covering 25 miles for amatuer and junior divisions. The trail system features a variety of terrain from swooping dirt single track to slickrock raceways and technical ascents, which will provide fresh and challenging race terrain for the riders.
Athlete check-in is located in downtown Moab at the Chile Pepper Bike Shop on May 8 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On race day, May 9, the base area will be located at the south entrance to the Klondike Bluffs trail system. The first riders will begin transfer stage one at 7:30 a.m. The race will be followed by a barbeque, awards and raffle at the race base area. All raffle proceeds benefit the Grand Country Trail Mix. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to join the event festivities while enjoying the mountain bike community atmosphere.
Enduro races pit riders' physical endurance and technical downhill skills making it an excellent discipline for riders of all ability levels. Three races will take place this season at Moab, UT, (May 9) which is sold out, Sun Valley, ID (June 27-28 ) and Canyons Resort, UT (Aug. 15). Spectators and athletes may view live timing results throughout the race on ItsYourRace.com and the ItsYourRace App.

I have extremely low expectations for this race being any fun. What a horrible venue, descending less than 3,000 vertical feet and zero shuttle service!
