by Enduro World Series

It's the first Enduro World Series race of 2018 and the season is starting with two huge days of racing in Chile at the Lo Barnechea Montenbaik Enduro. Ric McLaughlin and Chris Ball take on the famous anti-grip with varying degrees of success and try to keep it together as they tackle the longest stage in EWS history.

 Wowza!! Thanks! Exclamation! !!!

Stage 2 is going to absolutely destroy people... 11km straight away is insanity
  • + 4
I think this time in addition to testing the technique and skills of the riders will also be a very tough test for the components and enduro bikes resistance and it is likely that after this we take a step more than the requirement that have the manufacturers in terms of the quality and capabilities of the components. I know the parva very well and I assure you that tires, rims, brakes and suspensions will suffer a lot. See you at the EWS!

Just love the EWS coming to South America!

Opps...tip of the day.....watch this then pick your winners in the pool. errrrrrr can I change that to Hill. That made me want to unclip just watching!
  • + 3
That looks absolutely brutal. The liasons alone! What I would give to ride there.
  • + 2
Looks like there are some chairs to make it not completely insane, but still 16.5 km and 17 km each day and 1500+M climbing...nutso
  • + 2
Absolutely does look brutal and challenging. But, not my kind of riding at all. It'll be interesting to see who has the fitness and courage to open it up on this course.
  • + 1
Take into account that liaisons and special stages there lie between 3800 and 1800 metres above sea level (approx.), you have to acclimatise a minimum before racing. At the Bike Park (lifts) the two first descents from the top of la Parva will leave you hazy and drained by the fourth or fifth you just have to stop and rest a long while before going up and down again.
  • + 2
It looks insanely hard and fun! Some of these stages have 3-4 times more descent than DH tracks! It got me buzzing to go riding!!! The weekend cannot come soon enough!!
  • + 2
The way POV videos look, so unfair. It's obviously sketchy and steep, but doesn't translate on video.
  • + 3
That opening theme music is finally back!

didn't they use it for the olympics?

Yes we do! Sometimes we spent the whole day in the Bikepark and in the end we go all the way down on our bikes ( taking it slow it's at least 30 minutes ) i always call it "rinding on Mars" ????
