 Chris Ball, what a ripper!
  • 13 0
Uhh yep! No wonder the riders love it when the organisers are such shredders!

More EWS previews with Chris Ball please. He shreds, he does a good job with the narration, and is literally positioned to provide the most insight as he is the organizer. Its a no brainer.

@freestyIAM: and Tracey Mosley she's awesome too, both on the bike and commentary..

Haha that was great. I've been loving Tracey's previews but that one was awesome. As an aside, PB needs to run more competitions to send regular muppets like me to compete in these events. Those trails looked brilliant.

Thank you Chris Ball for making MTB racing great again. F the UCI. Enduro is what we've been doing with our bros for years...pedal up, race down, on your one do it all bike.

 1. My hands hurt just watching that. 3,000 ft descents of rugged trail.

2. That looks to be the best enduro courses that Snowmass/Aspen has had yet. Props to BME

3. Chris Ball can absolutely shred

Gonna be a party in Aspen!

 One for the 29ers.

Unfortunate cuz most of these trails aren't open t the public and are only open for this race. Wish they would open them up for everyone to ride.
  • 1 1
Why arent they open to the public? Take my money...I want to ride this shit
  • 1 0
Ha, most of them are fresh cut and if you wanna rip em after the race then go do it. Who's gonna stop you?
  • 1 0
@andnyleswillriot: I'm pretty sure snowmass shuts that stuff down after races, no? If they keep them as tracks, then I would love to go ride them.
  • 1 0
@ianswilson815: I mean 3 or 4 of the stages are fresh cut this year, who knows what they'll do. But still, if you wanna ride em just ride em! Haha

As an Aspen/Snowmass local I am psyched to have everyone in town. Trails are being cut up and down the valley as we speak! Its a great time to be a cyclist in the Roaring Fork Valley.

There is some fast terrain there. Doesn't look tech but is at 40+ mph. i hope we get some good footage and maybe a speed trap or two.

 Our Northern Irish Claudio!

Chris used to race WC Dh, hasn't lost any of that speed by the looks of things. Great commentary from those 2 as well.

Looks like a great course for this round, gonna be a tough one, dry? No rain dances eh?
  • 1 1
This looks awesome. They need to figure out how to broadcast these events somehow. I know the format doesn't lend itself to that at all but it sure would be incredible.

Looks like the pinnacle of Mountain Biking in 2017!

Great footage ... quality of movie could be better... 1080p / 60fps would be nice... for the rest.. awesome riding, nice humor... great trails...

beautiful place and smooth trails looks like it can be raced on a hard tail
  • 2 1
Far too chattery for an HT at those speeds lol....

@nvranka: Just put a Plus tire on the hardtail and the chattery is gonne. all the EWS has gnarly track all ober the year but in USA the trails are for shure less tecnical and rocky. Rider leasing Enduro bikes at home racing with trail bikes.
In my opinion EWS should be raced only on trails that are gnarly for an Enduro bike. not with trail bikes like the event in Tasmania where the trails was very nice but the organizers told the racers to come with trail bikes.

 We want TMO back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • 4 0
Chris Ball and TMo is EWS presenter dream team IMO
  • 2 3
McLaughlin is a FAR better commentator than TMO, he has no sense of humor, is boring and speaks with a perpetual monotone.
