Course Preview: Steve Smith Memorial BC Cup Finals
The Dunbar Summer Series, Mount Washington Alpine Resort and Tianna Smith have teamed up to host the 1st annual Steve Smith Memorial BC Cup Finals. Over the September 17th weekend the Island will host some of Canada’s best racers as they get together on the Monster Mile and race against the clock.

The monster mile is a rowdy course. The preview was cool but it almost looks like they brought dirt in! I remember it being much rougher a few years back

This trail hasn't been ridden in years. If it weren't for this race they wouldn't have touched this trail, they don't run bikes up the specific chairlift that accesses the Trail, just hikers..A LOT could be done but in true monster mile fashion it will be raw and rough.

Since implied sarcasm is only read by a portion of the population, what I meant was: "By golly that track has quite a lot of rocks." Which in no way is a bad thing... Looks sick to be honest and a race track should be as challenging as it is fun. "Yewww" or whatever the kids are saying this week.

Anyone from Whis going with room for one? Really want to go but it's a big expense for a solo mission. Happy to pay gas and help with the ferry fees.
