You can't keep a good man down. Despite crashing on this very track last year, Claudio Caluori is back on the bike for our preview of a slightly reformatted Mont-Sainte-Anne course for 2014.
As ever, expect some enlightened commentary and the odd swear word from the Gstaad Scott team manager.
Be sure to keep in touch with all of Claudio's crazy goings on on Facebook and Twitter. Tune in to redbull.com/bike on Saturday August 2nd to find out who comes out on top in Canada.
Well I always wondered what if the bloke crashes one time and he did it well prepared, Anyway after i saw track walk the next thought was now i need to see Claudio run and here is it is always fun to watch Claudio's course preview great moments and a lot of fun
i think nobody here at pinkbike will complain for a "f***k!!" screamed during a mini heart attack feel the front wheel washing out, the f-bomb is the weakest weapon i can drop in those moments...
This track looks bloody amazing !
If I had to pick one WC to ride I think this would be it , very much doubt I have the fitness to get down in one go tho !
c'est incroyable le travail de GESTEV, c'Est eu qui organise la coupe du monde depuis 1996, ils ont engagé une équipe de diiger 3-4 semaines plein temps pour remettre la track digne d'une coupe du monde merci Gestev
This new track has interesting lines. At first, I was afraid that they would remove too much of the difficulties from the track but after seeing Claudio riding it, I feel they've kept the best parts and added some (needed) refresh with more speed and a few artificial features that will make the race even more interesting and "new school". Living nearby, I've been riding at MSA for years and following many WC there and I think GESTEV are still leaders when it comes to organization and race track design. Good job, guys and, as usual, Claudio is such a "gentleman rider". Love you!
moon dust is particularly tricky for sure, but the wet roots and rocks of places like MSA, Bromont, Mount Snow, Whiteface, etc get you scared real quick
Claudio is by far my favorite commentator and course previewer, so entertaining to watch and a skilled and awesome rider. how he is able to do commentary the WHOLE time he is rocketing down world cup courses without getting heavily winded is incredible, keep up to great work.
Claudio as ever... mucho respect ! the race should raise some interest, new V10 and Demo.. both capable on this track, i'm sticking my neck out and putting Ratboy up there, but Gwin ? could be a fly in the ointment, and Minnar ? super pinned when its fast and flowy, and................. f*ck it ! it's a must watch :-)
guys, I don't get it! can you explain? Somebody already told me I have to sing something from Frozen. I've got two kids too, - guess I have to watch it with them….. ;-)
i'll do this just for you, claudio (sorry, guys): iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/moSFlvxnbgk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>/iframe>
....I see stars....and F****, oh sorry I shouldn't swear here.... ahahahaha, nice one
claudio über as always
merci Gestev
"why did that happen? doesn't matter, pin it again!"
