The adrenaline. The action. The rivalries. The athletes with their skill, style and game-time energy. Cameras clicking. Fans buzzing. The brattle of chainsaws. The smell of victory champagne.

We miss it all.

As we as a team shift gears to working from home, going for mellow, local rides with the members of our households, reimagining how we can do what we do, and dreaming of when we can get back to what we know and love (CRANKWORX, BABY), we decided to do some time travelling to tap into all those feels we’re missing.

These feels, to be precise. Photo: Clint Trahan

And hey, you’re invited. BYO champagne/Red Bull/sparkling apple juice.

We’re stoked to bring you four Crankworx Watch Parties in May.

Starting this Friday (Saturday if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere), join your bike-minded friends from around the world on Facebook to re-visit some classic Crankworx broadcasts together, live, along with some special guests who’ll be coming along for the ride, active in the comments section of the video and there to answer your questions.

Slopestyle days of yore. L2A 2014.

Here’s what and who’s coming your way, when:

Not sure what time we’ll be live where you’re tuning in? Use the time converter.

Broadcasts will be replayed live around the world on Facebook, giving fans the opportunity to comment as the action unfolds, chat with fellow bike fans, as well as the pros.

Always wanted to know how Nicholi Rogatkin prepares for a comp? What inspires Tomas Lemoine’s style choices? What it’s been like for Gully to have gone from competitor to judge? Here’s your chance to have a yarn with these legends and all-stars.

Ask Gully anything! Well, within reason.

Miss the live re-broadcasts? They’ll be available on Crankworx's Facebook page to check out after they wrap.

So, starting this Friday, let’s keep the dream alive, friends. We’ll get back to where we once were. Meantime, let’s come together online to celebrate competition, progression and good times on bikes.

Why the hell do you use Facebook.

Yea that sucks. I deleted my last fb profile in '13, definitely not getting back. Hopefully they'll re-up it to cwx tv or something.

Yup, dumbest thing! I'm an anti-facebook-ite! Deleted my account years ago, never felt better!

At least there is some intellectual discussion occasionally happening on Facebook, even if it is the king of fake news and the #1 factor in getting Trump elected and creating his fake patriot cult(along with fox news). All I mostly see on Instagram is people posting pictures to promote how awesome their life is or obsess over material possessions. It is so continually boring unless you just want to worship other people's vacations and material possessions, very little substance. They are both garbage that have helped ruin our society though.

@DoubleCrownAddict: what is wrong with you?! Why do you hate Trump so much. You seem so unhappy with everything? Do you need a hug or little fluffy kittens to kick to make you feel better about life?

@scotttherider: Me criticizing incompetent Trump makes you assume I'm unhappy? Why do you act so desperately to protect your leader? What is wrong with you that you can't see you are part of a cult?

I don't hate Trump, just mainly angry about how he has so successfully divided the country, his blatant disrespect for protecting the environment, and constantly promoting the interests of wealthy millionaires over the middle class, while at the same time crassly and very successfully manipulating and agitating those same low education middle class workers with cultural issues such as the border, guns, race, religion, race. Its so blatant that it's pathetic, yet he's enthralled a good portion of America with his cheap con man skills.

"But the most important and troubling symptom is the open and ceaseless commitment to conflict meant to culminate in transformative, cathartic violence; this marks the beginning of collective self-actualization.
The ongoing conflict is not a glitch but a process that cannot be stopped or resolved politically. With the GOP in death-cult mode, a steady destruction of checks and balances previously imagined to be fail-safe, the jelly-spined leadership of the Democratic Party, and the Soviet-grade purging of any disloyalty or disobedience in the federal systems, Trump has effectively destroyed American politics."
