I think it has something to do with media accreditation. Champs are often broadcasted in national TV channels around the world, I guess they have to pay a lot more than for "just" a World Cup.
There's not much out there for world champs and I'm fairly certain shaborider is correct without any evidence to back that up. This and On Track are the best racing documentary series by far. This is awesome.

Gutted, read thrash and thought, that'll make a nice change for the MTB industry to put some thrash to a video. I was let down. I challenge the gay marketing types at specialised to get some real thrash on their next video.

Loic you are a legend in the making and an inspiration for young riders. But perhaps a few less "F" bombs in your interviews will help elevate your profile to that of legends like Vouilloz, Peat, Hill, Minaar, Gwinn....
