The mighty Mont Blanc watching over the proceedings.
It's World Champs week, which means the top riders in the world have been rolling out their custom bikes for the big showdown. Here are a few that Ross Bell, Nathan Hughes, and Andy Vathis captured on their laps through the pits.
Bohdi Kuhn's big rig is looking dialed.
The designers at Trek have clearly been busy, because Loris Vergier's new ride is a looker, too.
Angel Suarez should be all set to go fast this weekend on this one.
This South African stunner belongs to Johann "Pottie" Potgieter.
YT also had this Tues painted up for Oisin O'Callaghan, who has had some success at World Champs past...
And another nationality-themed Tues for Erik Irmisch of Germany.
It's the first time to World Champs for Neko Mulally's Frameworks.
Junior rider Jenna Hastings has been on fire this year, and she has the bike to show for it.
Danny Hart's sponsors pulled out all the showstopper details with this one.
Marine Cabirou won't be racing to let her back heal, but she still has a decked-out Gambler in the pits.
We look forward to seeing her back on the bike and healthy soon.
Like last year, Dean Lucas's bike and kit nod to Aboriginal Australian artwork.
Just a couple glimpses of the GOAT's setup.
The MS Mondraker crew is looking sharp.
We know Eleonora Farina is ready to go fast this weekend.
It's bold colors for the Mondraker riders this time around.
Tuhoto Ariki-Pene's custom Summum.
It's the eye of the tiger for David Trummer.
Brook MacDonald gets all the colors.
Gracey Hemstreet has a very real chance of becoming World Champion after her second place in Val di Sole last year.
Laurie Greenland is prepared to ride the lightning. That is, his Lightning McQueen themed V10.
Bailey Goldstone's all-Canadian Demo.
Despite a shoulder injury, Bruni will be giving his all on home soil.
And his Demo frame looks up to the task.
Tahnee Seagrave will be on chrome this time.
The riders will be doing everything they can to find that edge for race day.
Things are still quiet now, but it's almost time to go full speed ahead into race day.
Trek is also the only big brand to offer something similar to their customers with project one effect colors. While others sell their 12000$ bikes in algae und sand "design" (looking at you Santa Cruz).
@Muscovir: i remember rob warner talking about camille balance's bottom (section) for at least a whole minute on the livestream, how it looked really good and she pretty much nailed it... i found that really awkward already.
@scantregard: an amateur racer I know even said its normal for commencal bikes (or at least the Supreme) to crack at different places within a single year. That's an anectode from him and a couple of his friends.. They still ride those frames because they are so good, and the guarantee handles the rest.
@fruitcake: Yup, and probably gets government grants, endorsements and a colum in the local paper for putting those rubbish dots and swirls on his bike. This guy makes auzzies look bad
I trust Pivot engineering is better than their spelling. Someone had one job to do before they spent thousands on a paint job that can’t even spell the location.
@calumjsmith: Do you have inside info? BK thanked the Pivot office for getting the designs done in time, so that was the assumption. Isn't it spelt differently on Meesta Ed's and Jenna's? At first I thought it might be a joke, but now I'm not so sure.
The designers at Cube should do an internship at Trek, Pivot, or pretty much any other bike brand listed here. That things ugly and blue shifter cable is the pinnacle of a bad idea visually.
Mainly because they actually considered the forks as well...
Bruni... killer. All around killer.
Tahnee. Fork looks rad in chrome. Very T-Mac esk
Angels Commencal is sick. A little more attention on the fork would have set it off but that bike is clean.
Those are all pretty amazing. That silver ice effect on Bruni's bike is so cool...I want to learn how to do paint effects like those haha. Well done to all the artists!
Currently working at a Trek shop to help pay for college. Apparently the Trek paint jobs take a ridiculous amount of time and there's only a few people certified to do them, especially the on Vergier's bike. Had one come in the other day, and it's mesmerizing to see in person.
How sick would it be if Neko, Gwin, Dak, Minnaar or IIles won!?! Just bummed that I can't watch it since last year I got a proxy thingy and got tons of spam and sheit on my 'puter. Don't recommend.
Anyone else couldn't care less about custom paint jobs? Probably just me. I find it so dull that every year every rider has a custom painted bike for world's, as if it's something special. Neko wins best paint job this year, by a mile, to me.
Anyone else surprised that Bailey Goldstone has a custom painted rig? I don't know her at all from any past world cups, including MSA which is in Canada....
so busy that he did not have time to finish writing the location on Jenna Hastings pivot! Hopefully BK's bike will turn up on time - this year his motorsport theme appears to be the martini racing colours if the hints are anything to go by (watch his latest vlog - he shows the decals in the FC shop but then talks in Les Gets about shipping delays for his and Eddie's frames which they are blaming on Wynn)
@Puddings: Yes, I've watched it. I also commented further up the thread about the spelling mistake (maybe down to Bex as she does the stencilling work, bit of a schoolboy/girl error either way).
@dorkbike: Thanks. It was obviously a joke, but I guess most people didn't get it. Besides racing the DHSE that he and his fam put on, I've seen the videos saying he was riding the least broken frame in the last race.

Spicy sparkles... the name says it all
Lol
Are you and Mr Sparkles dating ?
Goodluck boys

Can't tell if sarcastic.
*Kerr indeed.

Damn good wrap on it though.
