One of the best parts of World Champs is the variety of drool-worthy bikes that are wheeled out for one race a year. We've spent the day marooned in the pits of Mont-Sainte-Anne to bring you the blingy bikes that the riders hope will take them to gold this weekend. There are more to be added tomorrow so stay tuned:

Rider: Mick Hannah - Country: Australia
Rider: Dean Lucas - Country: Watermelon
Totally agree with you about the country themed paintjobs.
Still would display all of these all over my house tho
Think Scott takes the team award
-Brand at the valve
-Model at the valve
-I don't give a f*ck
Dean Lucas with the backward front assegai
Flo Payet with the backward rear assegai
Tahnee's Schwalbe G-Up Crew that still looks like a Magic Mary thread design.
And only 3 bikes having the proper spokes color...damm.
Cabirou's Chrome finish wins in my book. Flo Payet's Scott was also nice.
Kona wins points for the retro scheme but that rocker link.. :o
1) Mark Wallace
2) Dak Norton
3) Marine Cabirou
If anyone can make the m29 actually look good and quit fighting the lines of the bike, i wish they would get on that
Although, not many going absolutely nuts this time.
I'd say Mulally's Intense is the winner here. Patriotic (it's worlds after all) and rad.
A close 2nd. Brannigan's GT (extra points for the All Black NZ flair).
And how come Trek gives their DH riders like three or four custom bikes a year and Jolanda Neff, is riding the same blue prototype race after race. She is probably their most marketable and successful rider currently. Katy Winton too, she and Pedro Burns are finally riding custom rigs, but they've basically done the last two seasons on off-the-shelf bikes.
Doesn't Reeder get a custom bike for nearly every event? Even Jackson Goldstone has a custom session.

On a more boring note, it looks like Dak Norton has removed the pins from his HTs .
I always felt clip pedals with big pins would make foot rotation harder and therefore harder to quickly unclip. Reckon that's why?
A-A-Ron coming out with a predictable Stars and Stripes theme.
