360 cameras are such a gimmick and the novelty is over. For some things they may work but for MTB all I ever do is move it to a standard GoPro angle and then watch it. The annoying thing with this video is I had to keep moving the camera back to that position when he changed direction!
With a Google cardboard type headset this is actually pretty great. Get a much better sense of how steep it is than you get with normal gopro footage. 360 degree video does pretty much suck without that though.
The 3 drop still looked weird tho, your POV stays in the same place even though Berrecloth is spinning.
All the props the Claw and all the riders who risk their lives for this event. I love watching the runs and the weeks building up to it.
But this version is more annoying to watch than sand in my britches.....
I crash a lot....
The riding kicks ass for sure, but, does anyone actually enjoy watching the world in 360? This kinda thing may have been cool in 90s pop videos but enough already.
i was hoping for something sweet when i saw the title, but honestly that camera made it look easier, i was thinking that the exposure really wasnt there on his run. I got a much better feel for Straits run with a normal go pro.
sick run, not taking anything away but the one positive is 360 cameras just made me think i could easily handle a rampage run!!
This has to be the dumbest video I have ever seen. it looks like the video footage was corrupted when rendered. You can not even tell what is going on.
This sucks to watch on a regular computer. Oculus Rift makes it super rad. You get a better perspective looking back up at what The Claw just came down.
Fuckn terrible video! I thought my phone was fucked. I want my data back. Sweet moves pb for posting garbage videos of one of the best riders in the world.
