First canyon gap flip of 2014 Red Bull Rampage belongs to Szymon Godziek!

Here at Dartmoor Bikes we've always tried to maintain long term relationships with our team riders. As we grew up from the mountain biking scene itself it is easier for us to understand ups and downs of professional sport career. Fortunately, the 2014 season was the most successful ever for our whole team, definitely filled with more ups than downs. We're so proud and lucky to work with such talented riders from across the globe as Szymon Godziek and Tomas Zejda and we are proud to announce that they will continue riding for Dartmoor-Bikes team in 2015 together with Tom Cardy - winner of the 2014 FMB European Amateur Cup ranking.

Szymon Godziek and District Ride Best Trick trophy.

Szymon Godziek had an impressive 2014 season finishing at the stunning 5th place of the FMB World Tour Diamond Series and finishing his first-time-ever Red Bull Rampage contest on the 11th place with the canyon backflip performed perfectly twice at the qualifications and during finals. His jumping background and sick freestyle motocross style gave him also several best trick wins with backflip cliffhanger at Vienna Air King or super-sick backflip tsunami in front of the 60,000 spectators at District Ride. We can't wait to see Szymon shredding his petrol Cody and red devil Roots on the sickest courses around the globe starting very soon at the snowy Whitestyle in Leogang.

Tomas Zejda and his eye-catching Two6Player

The best Czech Republic rider - Tomas Zejda - won all of the contests at his home country in 2014 and successfully took part in most of the biggest FMB events. He finished 12th in the Diamond Series final rank after reaching the finals in both Crankworx (Les2Alpes and Whistler) and at Bearclaw Invitational. Tomas is training hard during current winter time to let us all see his stylish rides in 2015 with his miami-vice coloured Two6Player and Wish - two of the most recognizable bikes of the FMB circus.

Crankworx Les2Alpes was a blast for Tomas Zejda, where he finished 10th.

And finally the youngblood - Tom Cardy - the best young UK dirt jump rider training together with the 2013 World Tour champ - Sam Pilgrim. Tom finished his first competitive season at the top of FMB European Amateur ranking and in 2015 he wants to join some of the Pro Tour events with his Cody bike.

That was a pretty good year for Tom Cardy who collected several trophies from contests around the Europe

Just a regular day at the office for Tom Cardy

Assuming, it was a pure pleasure to watch all of those incredible athletes pushing the limits of our beloved freeride mountain biking to another levels. Each of them gave our bikes several moments of glory this year, and we're very happy to announce that our team riders are reaching for even more in 2015 !!

Cardy has been shredding the last few years- not quite the best in the UK yet as you can't ignore Sam Reynolds and Matt Jones. Cardy defo has the potential to rise to the top, proper nice guy too. I'll be cheering for him this year.

Tom Cardy is so sick haha, seen a few of videos and his clips he posts on Facebook, you can tell he rides with Sam Pilgrim because they have very similar, if not the exact same style. Even Tom's no handed 3's look like Pilgrim's.

Sad to see Ray George is now on Polygon. Dude shreds and definitely deserved to be picked up by a big company, but Dartmoor bikes in my opinion are the better choice for his style of riding

There's something about dirt jumpers with a mountain backdrop that still melts my circuits a bit. In a good way.

 No Enduro team?

That will be revealed in a different post.

This is about Dirt Jumping/Freeride. Trek wouldn't release an article like this about their C3 team and then confirm who's on the XC team.
