PRESS RELEASE: Reverse Components schneefraesn

For some it's still awkward, for others a must-do in their calendar: the Reverse Components schneefraesn is conquering ski slopes all around Austria again in 2019. There is a huge benefit comped to downhill races in summer: if you fall, it's gonna be soft. Although less grip means you'll be on the verge of hitting the ground more often. But who doesn't like drifting?

That's probably the reason why 324 riders took their bikes out of the garage in the middle of winter and were hustling down ski slopes at the schneefraesn 2018. From January to March 2019, the populare race series is entering the next round. Six races all over Austria are awaiting the participants.

Everyone who is not shy of hitting a ski slope with his bottom is very welcome to the series. The reward is a huge smile after each and every event. That's why - besides a huge number of hobby athletes - even big names like Fabio Wibmer, Markus Pekoll, Andreas Kolb or Vali Höll turn up to schneefraesn races.

Title sponsor Reverse Components is giving away goodies for all participants and precious gifts to the fastest guys and girls.

The winter downhill series was established by the Austrian mountain bike magazine LINES in 2016 to put all snow races in Austria under one roof. In the following years the series developed to a cup for beginners and pro racers alike and is a perfect way to overcome the off-season blues.
