The new Deity Blacklabel 25 Handlebar

bigquotesIt is about time we offered our flagship aluminum handlebar in more rises! In all honesty, you will see more and more options from us as the years progress and this is just the start. Our handlebars are probably the fastest growing segment of our brand and there is a reason for that. From our International Distribution roster growing and our presence hitting every corner of the globe, we may be the misfits of this industry in some ways, but we are making the big guys sweat now. It is all a healthy, organic growth for us and we are building a strong foundation for our future plans. - Eric Davies (Deity, Owner)

The new Deity Blacklabel 38 Handlebar

bigquotesSeeing the support of riders for our brand over the past decade has never gone unappreciated and we still to this day are always honoured when we see someone on board our gear. It has been a crazy year though. From product launches, new riders joining the team, our facilities expanding tremendously, and our voice becoming more mature, it is reassuring to see that our original philosophies and vision for our brand are stronger than ever and becoming more and more refined. It has been a wild first 10 years for this company and starting it from a handful of dollars and slowly building it has been rewarding. Nevertheless, having sole control of what we do and how we do it, has been priceless and a reason that we are setting up the company to do big things in this industry. - Eric Davies (Deity, Owner)

I won a Deity CZ38 set of bars from Zink himself from a social media contest. Man that's the best bar I've ever put on my bike. I'm gonna get another set of Deity bars for my new HT.

Been running those for a year now. Awesome bars (and I've been through quite a few).
38mm rise, 760mm wide - perfect for a mini-dh bike.
  • 2 0
Yeah, I love how wide they are. The 38mm rise is perfect. Then all of a sudden your scraping trees. Smile it's all good I've learned to reride my lines a little different now.

As a tall fellow, it is always nice to see wide handlebars with a decent rise available. I currently have a Spank 777 50mm (DH) and a Deity CZ38 (AM).
  • 1 0
As another tall fellow, even more rise would be cool. 60mm rise bars are super rare.
  • 1 0
We can dream, but probably not enough volume for such a product (very high rise). Speaking mostly of DH bikes, as AM bikes have tall head tubes to help out with HD height. On my DH bike I found the tallest DM stem and tallest handlebar I could find to get the HB height up to levels that average height fellow might consider "low".

Here we can get a mid-rise bar in a kaleidoscope of colors but there's no demand for high rise? If they're gonna stock that many skus, why not make the differences real?!

Omg....amazing products that are made of metal instead of cloth and glue!! Brilliant. I've been looking for some wider bars above my 760 Nukeproof for a while but hardly anyone does a 9° back sweep which I find so much more comfortable. Thank you Diety you may have solved my problem!!

Easton Havoc 35 are 9x5 and 800mm and come in aluminum. I like mine.

I bought the new deity carbon mohawks and I'm very pleased with them, easily as good as the enve dh bars on my other bike, I got carbon bars because I have tendonitis and the carbon really helps to damp vibrations but you still feel the trail well, wish the had come in a 38mm rise though
  • 4 0
I got me a set of those Mohawks at christmas....and man are they the doberman's undercarriage!! Wasn't really fussed about carbon, but I wouldn't go back to alu bars now - well maybe the new Spank vibrocore might get a look in, but I'm well happy with the Deity bars.

GOT the dc31s, awesome bars ,feel so solid

@pigman65 Bloody good bars aren't they? Did Gisburn forest yesterday and had zero arm pump. Tis a bit rocky round there!
  • 3 0
After much deliberation, head scratching, and chin rubbing, I finally pulled the trigger earlier this year and got the Mohawks as well. On the expensive side but definitely an awesome bar. Couldn't be happier!
  • 3 0
Not really that expensive, cheaper than Fatbars and most others.
crc have them for £92 or £98 I think .They also do a stem package which saves a fair bit.
Alps test next week for mine.Fck yeah !!!
  • 2 1
Yah, I actually got them through CRC. I agree with what you're saying, but they were up there in price for my Canadian wallet, especially with the exchange rate. That being said, good bike parts cost money and I don't regret buying them. Such a fantastic bar! Enjoy the Alps pigman65. That'll be a dope trip for sure!

@ElTaco Sorry dude...Was trying to prop you up and down propped you by mistake! Thumbs and phone screens don't mix well.

@krissboo Not to worry! I know exactly what you mean, as it's happened to me before Smile
  • 2 0
@ElTaco. Sorted. Wink Back on the desktop now, so no more mis-props. Enjoy your Deity's.

 @krissboo Thanks! You too Smile

Any opinions on the lack of 35mm diameter? I had a pair of carbon rethals that had too much rise for my preferences, so traded them for some SIXC that are 35mm. I wasn't looking for the new standard, it just worked out that they had the rise and width I wanted (had to trade stem too). I LOVE the way the look, but on the first ride I took them on I wrecked pretty badly and haven't been able to ride for a week so I can't cite any performance differences. They weigh a tad more than the 31.8 renthals, but they are wider.
