Loverboy on an edit, I've officially seen and heard it all at this point.

The real reason Loverboy is in this edit is seen near the beginning of the vid. Dude drives off in his truck leaving the film crew behind. It's called payback. . .

I wasn't hatin' bro, i'm "loving every minute of it"

This is why I love living and riding in the PNW. The woods are gorgeous, the dirt is perfect (except after total rain outs), the terrain is rolling so lots of ups and downs and loverboy plays in the forest. Ok, well maybe not the last part but I am a proud PNW guy Smile Awesome riding. Anyone know where this is?

Its a local spot, if you have to ask then.... you know. I will tell you that I believe apart of this was filmed at Tokul, but the other place is a bit more secret.

First rule of fight club is: You don't talk about fight club. If you catch my drift...
  • 10 13
ahh, the little dick club. Like there aren't enough places to ride around here. I had a feeling I knew and was just curious. You can have your little spot people know it's there. "veintisiete" Smile

We are all appart of the same club buddy. Don't be a cry baby. Questions like "Where's that trail at?" should not be asked on the internet. It's called respect. Have some for the trail and most all the trail builders.

you're not part of the same club if you have to hide trails. Now I get that these trails exist and understand people want to keep them secret but they're just questions there's no need for you to be a dickhead about it

Why is it being a dickhead if someone doesn't want to disclose the location of secret trails on a public site??
  • 2 3
Clearly out of line calling Tj a dickhead. Tj you have a PM waiting.

 That escalated quickly.

it's been de-escalated. We've spoken and everything is cool. I admit I took it a bit personal for the wrong reasons. I hang that one on me.

turn me loose by loverboy is my favorite song of all time...said nobody, ever.
  • 28 2
woah, bringing back some terrible memories for you? Like the time some dude with a popped collar put this on the jukebox right after Huey Lewis and the News, ordered a Bud, and then picked up the same chick you were trying to pick up? You know the one with the shoulder pads and the curly blonde hair, with blue eyeliner over those mysterious eyes? You watched him rollout in his Camaro with sad, longing, eyes.

Has anyone ridden a new Nomad? If so, how do you like it? People seem to really like them so I'm curious.

 Same question
  • 12 0
I think you answered your own question there.

Like a bronbron with more squish and a slack front end. Had my mind set on the nomad until I rode both side by side, Bronson won with a 160 fork

It is an amazing bike. Descends like you would expect, but climbs much better than you would think. Check out MTBR in the forums if you want a more complete answer. I posted up a comparison review recently with my HD3 in the Ibis forum over there.

Nomad is a amazing. Only had mine for 2 weeks but love it. I can't ride it like Matt but I'll keep on trying.
  • 1 0
Why you only have yours for two weeks?

Brown pow, smooth style, and lots of whips and drops. Deity always does a good job on their edits. Loved it.

That video was corny AF. Like the riding was good but it was kind of like the 80's hair band music video of bike media. I don't even care about neg rep. I just wanna speak my mind.

Santa Cruz Nomad... I'd buy one if it wasn't carbon. Cheaper and wouldn't worry about riding in my rocking home environment.

 So Loose
  • 11 13
I don't think this guy needs his name on the back of his jersey to ride like a 15 year old girl... My hat is off to the damn trail builders though!
  • 11 0
Says the guy with a dead sailor for his profile pic....
  • 6 0
Right. I'm sure you could show him what's up...
Smooth, skilled rider if you ask me. Maybe he didn't impress you because he wasn't blowing up every berm and locking up around every corner?
Props from me for kick ass, real world shredding. And ya, PNW rules.
