Demo a Trek: Ride Before You Buy - Lawrence, Kansas
Trek is hitting the road with a trailer full of their high end mountain bikes and offering free demos. They’ll be in Lawrence at The River trails on 26 June from 10-3pm Come join us and ride the bike of your dreams. Try out the latest and greatest that Trek has to offer. There will be full suspension, hardtails, different wheel sizes, and different models.

You’ll have the opportunity to try different bikes back-to-back and decide what you like best. All demos are free. Please bring an ID and credit card to sign out a bike. (Your credit card won’t be charged.) Also, bring appropriate riding gear including a helmet and pedals.

Clinton has been shut down for a while due to all the water. The river trail also will make it easier to keep people from getting lost or out too far and allow for a quicker turnover of bikes to ensure everyone gets to ride what they want to

To anyone going - Clinton Lake out west of Lawrence has more diverse and rocky terrain better suited to testing the more capable bikes. That is, if the Trek guys would allow it.

I completely agree. Though, a trail system such as Clinton would probably produce a few damaged demo bikes with some of the less experienced riders.

Aren't most of Clinton Lake trails under water right now because of the dam being closed to avoid the flooding down stream?
