SWISS ENDURO SERIES 2022 POWERED BY SUBARU
After a successful first season in 2021, the launch of the Swiss Enduro Series 2022 campaign is just around the corner. With five destinations in the calendar, four of which are new, this year’s series promises to be quite the epic affair.

A quick recap of the off season shows the introduction of two new Categories and the announcement of the first ever SES E-Bike race. Both a Master and Hardtail category have been added to the roster and the first SES-E race will be held at Round 2 SES Aletsch Arena.

The Swiss Enduro Series is delighted to highlight that Round 1, SES Laax and Round 5, SES Airolo will host EWS Qualifier events, enabling participants to earn points and thus a starting place in the Enduro World Series. This showcases the Swiss Enduro Series commitment to raising the level and awareness of Enduro mountain biking in Switzerland as well as developing simplified pathways into racing.

ROUND 1 - LAAX / SWISS ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022
On 11-12 June 2022 the first round of the 2022 season will take place in the Freestyle Mecca of Switzerland, in Laax. And what a first round it’s shaping up to be with over 400 riders scheduled to start. Not only will it host an EWS Qualifier event but also the 2022 Swiss Enduro Championships.

The 2021 Swiss Championships proved to be a tight and hard fought battle. In the Elite Men’s category Patrick Lüthi took home gold, narrowly beating Gustav Wildhaber and Stefan Peter to the top step of the podium. Whilst in the Elite Women’s category Lisa Baumann claimed a surprise victory over the favoured twins Anita and Carolin Gehrig.

With the local trails renowned for their diversity in challenge and character, will home soil knowledge help one of the Gehrig twins take the title in what will surely be their last season racing? Will Patrick Lüthi be able to retain his title and fight off Gustav Wildhaber and Stefan Peter for the second year in a row? These questions are going to be answered on the 12th of June in Laax. Come by and enjoy the race action.
