Bootleg Canyon Gravity Racing is back to business as usual at Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, Nevada for the 7th annual DVO Winter Gravity Series (WGS). The WGS features Downhill, Enduro, and Dual Slalom over a 3-day weekend with shuttles, cash for the pros, E-Bike categories for the Enduro's, free onsite dry camping, and some of the best trails in the Southwest. All events start on Friday afternoon with a Dual Slalom race. Since the DS track is alongside the service road, there is always a large crowd cheering their favorite racers on. Like in all past events, with the exception of last year, we welcome as many spectators as possible. There will be field limits on racers, albeit much better than last year, so we do encourage you to sign up early as we believe the event(s) will sell out again.

The only thing from last year that we will continue with is the online-only registration and the drive-thru packet pick-up. No more lines for registered racers and once you park, you are all set to practice, play, and race. Also, no masks will be required, and no more temperature checks.

A quick event itinerary will go as follows, with DS on Friday afternoon, Enduro on Saturday morning, and Downhill on Sunday morning. As always, there will be plenty of open practice on Friday and Saturday. There will even be an hour of open practice on Sunday before the DH race.

Other New Stuff for the Series
* The Reaper Madness has been moved to mid-April to avoid the conflict with the Tennesse National.
* No more charge for Friday shuttles as shuttles for the 3 days are included in your race fee. Race fees did not increase and there is still a discount for signing up for more than 1 race.
* Sign up just once for the entire series.
* New racecourse for 1st-time Downhillers and the 6-10 age bracket.
We have been getting more and more groms and most on bikes with 24" wheels. Now, their racecourse will be one of the stages used for Saturday's Enduro, like Girlscout. So, the Downhill for 1st-time downhillers and the 6-10 age bracket will be on the same course and on Saturday during the Enduro race. No more 6-10 year-olds or 1st timers racing down the gnar of the face.

The Pro cash purse will be provided by DVO Suspension and GT Bicycles with equal pay-outs for the Pro Women and the Pro Men in Enduro and Downhill.

You might race? Bootleg needs the Great Gnarkowski to return. Just like you mentioned past greats, please do not deny racers new to Bootleg the chance to talk about you in the future. Ha-ha.

they changed 6-10 because of all the whiny ass parents last year. If your kids can’t do the course, ride with them until they can.

Ignorant comment of the day award. Go ride both...E mountain bike that you have to pedal and then an E dirt bike ( even a shitty one) and get back to me with your revised opinion.
