Of course Sam Hill doing DH again will get a lot of attention, rightly so. But Rachel Atherton coming back to world cup racing not only after having a kid, which itself comes with so many different physical and mental obstacles, but also after having years away from racing with some pretty big injuries to overcome.
Rachel's got nothing to prove to anyone but still has the drive to prove to herself she can do it. Fair play. That's an achievement I don't think any of us can comprehend.
Go Rachel!
Out of all the people making a comeback in this race, she's definitely my #1. I'm so psyched she's coming back to a stacked field (Seagrave, Cabirou, new talent from U23, and others).
100% went looking for Sam Hill on the list. As a 1985 vintage (the best), he's pretty much the oldest about too - other than of course, Greg, because Greg is immortal and will race world cup downhill until the earth stops turning. Doing it for the Dads!
Is goldstone racing ? Why do we have to do the work of the journalists here on the coments...? I mean came on PB/Outside... your are the biggest media on the industry getting loads of $ from adversting and so on... I tired of askiing more serious journalism that we deserve... it use to be diferent when was PB alone though..
@darkstar66: No need to be a d... Entry lists don't often reflect who exactly is going to race. Many times in the previous years riders could be on the lists, but it was known ever before the trainings started that they wouldn't race. So I find PaulRexs's claim absolutely legit. PB has people on the ground in Lenzerheide who can talk to riders and teams personally, and they have people home, who should follow the social media, to give us concise information on the subject. I mean, the World Cup DH is on, there is nothing more important to work on and write about at the moment. Posting such information in the comments, as much as I like to share whenever I find stuff that hasn't been posted yet, does feel like doing the job for them.
@chmurka3rg: Nah I'll be a dick on this one thanks. At least read the supplied info before having a bitch about someone's work. They just sounded like they were having a little Boo Boo because they weren't spoon fed exactly what they wanted.
Anyone know how to watch it while in the states? I have a discovery plus account but while using a VPN, we are still not gaining access to the UK version of discovery plus.
Is this still ongoing effects from the concussion she had at the beginning of last season? Or was there another one more recently? Either way, that's rough. Concussions are no joke.
