3-Day Blackout Period
In order to avoid players copying each other's teams, all rider selections will be hidden for 72 hours before each race. Start playing mind games with your friends that you
know are shoulder-hopping your choices.
Unlimited Trades
To make evolving your strategy between rounds easier, we've allowed unlimited trades after each round. Instead of only 2 changes allowed per round, you can now stick with what's working,
or change your whole team out after every race.
We've added an injury icon to show high profile athletes who are injured. This is not foolproof or exhaustive, so you'll still need to do your own research into your picks. If you know of riders who are injured, mention them in the comments and we’ll keep this updated.
Office Leagues
Employees at Race Face, Norco, SRAM, Trek, Chromag, Jenson, Specialized, and more are battling it out behind closed doors in their Office Leagues.
Offices can
set up private leagues in addition to playing the main public league. Let the trash talk begin and show Dave in accounting who's boss (sorry Dave).
The Fantasy Downhill League is Presented by Trek.
MENTIONS: @trek
Sucks to be you
Is that what we're calling them this year?
The Fantasy DH needs to either be locked down before qualifying starts or leave it open untill the race start.
Nobody down here is going to wake up at 2am in the morning to check times and make changes to their team.
Its an unfair advantage for everyone who happens to be in a favourable time zone.
Its a global competition right?
Why does it need to be closed as soon as qualifying finishes?
yeah Im not sure what time the qualifying started and ended so I dont know wether it was locked out before or after qualifying.
During qualifying in the last round I woke up in the middle of the night and realised that I hadnt set my team. Qualifying times were being posted and I was able to change my team until after qualifying had finished. So I assume this is the format for every round.
I would never intentionally wake up at 2am to check qualifying so all im really saying is the only way to make it fair for everybody is either to lock changes before qualifying or to leave it open to team changes up until the race starts.
