Bruccio's Round #4 team
Round 4 Prizing

@Bruccio won this round with 1070 points and walks away with Bontrager TLR Flash Charger Floor Pump & a Rapid Pack (value $180 USD).

After 4 rounds, @Anarhichas is leading the overall with 3155 points. The overall winner at the end of all 7 rounds of the 2018 UCI World Cup and the 2018 UCI World Championships will walk home with a Trek Session 9.9 with a limited edition exclusive paint job! More photos and detail on the spec here.

Starting now, right up until Qualifying before the next event, you can make as many changes to your team as you like to have a better chance at winning the next round. Your changes will be restricted by your available budget of a fictional $1.5 million. To make changes select EDIT TEAM button and then select the rider you wish to change. Then choose your new rider from the drop down list.

It's not too late to join if you haven't yet. There's prizing available for every round, and we'll announce round 4 prizes shortly.

Good luck!

I got 1070 points too but i can manage pump my tubeless tire with normal pump so Im STOKED for u. Cheers
  • + 1
Just out of curiosity who did you pick? Because I picked the top 4 men's and 9th in women's and I only got 840 points.
  • + 4
 @Vernon2145: i got the first 4 men, 3rd and 5th women
  • - 1
Congrats man. I had the identical team and thus the same score. I wonder why I didnt win?
  • + 3
@Bailey010: When there's multiple, they do a random drawing. 22 people got 1070 this time.
  • + 1
@mtbikeaddict: Thanks for the info. I went back and read the rules and see that now. How did you know 22 people won this round?
  • + 2
@Bailey010: Well, I was counting scores in Global... but it was easier to scroll down to @brianpark 's comment. Smile
  • + 3
Damn!! I got 820 points and thought I did good!!! Best week for me so far but still way off even with 1st,3rd,4th in men and 1st in women. I give up

Who thinks Gwin rode only because he felt bad for us Fantasy players?
  • + 6
lol "Sorry guys... here's 30 points"
  • + 1
That is some nice prizes. I would love to win the whole thing. The sad part is I have no idea how fantasy sports work. Never have and probably never will. All I know is I see dudes at work spending hours and hours on their fantasy football teams. My fantasy sports team doesn't have anything to do with big sweaty men running around in tight pants smashing into each other.

Theres a link at the top of the page that explains it all Wink

The pink bike version is a simplified version of a proper fantasy league. Values of athletes don't change over time and it costs nothing to completely overhaul your team. It's more of a predict who's going to do best each race than a full fantasy season thing. It's not hard to do at all, but you shouldn't take part because that means theres one more person to potentially beat me.
  • + 1
I caved and joined up. It seems pretty straight forward and easy enough to understand. I once tried to do Fantasy football and I had no idea what I was doing. It was pretty cool building my DH race team. I think I am going to do well. i picked people that already had a lot of points.
  • + 5
A lot of people had 1070 points, how did you decide who won?
  • + 3
 It must be Illuminati
  • + 3
 Random drawing... check the rules.
  • + 7
There were 22 people who had the top score, we random picked.
  • + 6
@karl-burkat: well, maybe next time *slips 5 dollar bill* there will be 23 people there...
  • + 3
@Milko3D: There would've been... Cry I had Pierron, Shaw, Hrastnik, Widmann... I was debating between Gwin or Greenland and Hart... picked Gwin, remembered his thumb, went to change, and fell asleep and woke up right after the deadline. Talk about ya snooze ya lose.. lol Yeah, got 730 points instead of 1070... still moved up few thousand places.... but probably no Session for me either. I'm betting on @Anarhichas winning that...
  • + 1
@mtbikeaddict: Haha, oh man...we've got 3 more stops for a come back! That and top3000 to fall asleep until world champs Big Grin
  • + 2
@Milko3D: YEAH! Big Grin I'm 3,644 right now... take 3,000 out, that's only 643 to go.. I've passed more than that pretty much every round, and if I stop falling asleep... another one bites the dust. I like the way you think! Seriously... I've slept through the deadline at least twice now... it's time for them to get some of that! Lemme just go talk to Dwayne Johnson and see if I can get some of that sleeping powder/amnesia stuff from the Tooth Fairy... *cackle, maniacal laugh, evil grin, rubbing hands* I can almost FEEL that Session! I can already envision myself riding the trails... Razz
  • + 6
@mtbikeaddict: Naaah, there's still plenty more rounds to go. The chances of me lucking out on every single one are pretty slim.
  • + 2
@Anarhichas: exactly its 4 out of 8 so if you got 2500 the chances are still good Smile Anyway after getting top 20 you will start sweating during the race haha. Cheers
  • + 1
@Anarhichas: Dude, I've been watching your picks. You've got a good strategy... the best all-rounder I can think of... this round was just weird, so it didn't work quite as well, but still.. you're #1, last round you were #2 by one point, you won the round before that (Round 2; Ft Bill) and the $750 of tires, and you've been the most consistently high-grossing contestant so far. We're coming through the last half of the season already... you're not foolin me lol. You're way too humble. Unless you take after Gwin and Nicole, and suddenly get taken out... ummmm. No. I was gunning for ya, but missed a major opportunity this round. Enjoy the prizes. Wink Salute
  • + 1
 @Anarhichas: Wait...you won 2 rounds!? Something's fishy! (damn I'm so clever Big Grin )

Well done, dude!
  • + 1
@Milko3D: Nope, WON the second round, as in most points. But now won the overall.
  • + 2
@Milko3D: and btw, appreciate the pun Big Grin long live the wolffish

Can someone clarify @mikekazimer @mikelevy - does the ability to make team changes lock before or after qualies? I saw someone on here say that it locks afterwards. Seems a bit ridic? Also disadvantages anyone not in the right timezone.
  • + 4
I think the first rounds it closed a few minutes after qualifying and this round the deadline was set for the wrong day. It should close before quali
  • + 5
sweet, i moved up 4000 places lol
  • + 2
I guessed 1st and 3rd men, got 0 for everything else, moved 500 down...no Session for me
  • + 1
Aw man, I only moved up 1,500 places
  • + 2
4,300 here! Great job to you as well!
  • + 1
I had an event where my team update didn't take so that one week crushed any hopes I had. LOL. Think I'm still in the top 2k but no chance in hell I'll be riding that bike.
  • + 2
last week i was 16xxx, now im 8xxx. hopefully i can maintain the 8000-place jumps.
  • + 1
 I moved 10 000 places. Beat this.
  • + 2
 @Slabrung: 12000 here...
  • + 3
Myriam Nicole, Dakota Norton and Wyn Masters = 0 points. Picks didn't work out this weekend lol.
  • + 1
Many have this pain. Part of the game.
  • + 2
Your expecting to get points by picking wyn masters? Hahahah
  • + 1
What did happen to D. Norton? No show? Injury? Slept in? Out for Val Nord? Lots of info on AG, DN's a ghost...
  • + 1
There was one little mention in a previous PB article; he dislocated his shoulder... he'll miss Vallnord but'll be back after, i.e MSA and La Bresse. Source: www.instagram.com/p/Bk-u1-uhbDY/?taken-by=daknorton
  • + 1
Is Aaron Gwin going to need a medical icon because he will be most likely be out for the next race in Vallnord?
  • + 1
i got 1st,2nd,3rd,9th men and 5th,and dont know for women so close with 955 points this round coming in at 100th on global
