“Riders came out in droves to this past weekend and you could tell by all the huge smiles that riders were stoked to be back at Diablo after a long winter season,” said Diablo Operations Manager – Jack Grzybek.
Earlier this spring the ParkLogic crew at Diablo Freeride Park launched an aggressive trail improvement campaign geared towards revamping existing trails and adding new lines and features across the mountain. During the past six weeks the trail crew invested over 3,500 hours building new features, new lines and revamping many sections of the vast Diablo trail network. “This year our focus is on improving existing trails while throwing-in a solid mix of new features and lines geared towards various ability levels," said General Manager – Shawn Orecchio. "It has been a busy spring season and there are many additional improvements we have yet to unveil."
