 Shame the uk has had an absence of any good diamond backs for decades

 There are two four cross guys in the uk that ride for them they are the Hudson brothers and there local spot is chicksands

 Actually I have a xsl comp and I bought it brand new in dec 2007. One of the best bikes I owned, only now selling due to lack of storage space and having two other brand new bikes. My opinion is diamondback is a great brand and I haven't seen enough out, I wouldn't mind trying the DH version out, it looks wicked

 Problem I have with the brand spans back over 20 years when Moore large where the importer. They have always been good bikes but they used to get heavily discounted at the end of each year, which does nothing for customer and dealer confidence. Role forward to this decade an the sabbath slips under the radar due to price and the perception of a budget brand. Then scapegoat arrives in the US and not a sniff of it in the uk. Don't get me wrong I would still be very happy with an axis but for me as a brand the uk has been shortchanged on what DB has to offer.
