Digging Rampage: A Story of Three Build Crews - Video

Nov 30, 2015
by Lacy Kemp

This year's Red Bull Rampage was undoubtedly the rowdiest yet with huge lines, huge crashes and plenty of drama, it's no surprise that it has become the sport's pinnacle event, and has certainly kept everyone talking long after the dust had settled. Jasper Wesselman and I flew down to tell a different story. We wanted to bring you the perspective of the entire event through the eyes of the builders from three of the dig teams. These were Graham Agassiz, Tyler McCaul and the Carson Storch/Kyle Jameson/Ryan Howard's teams.

Best Rampage coverage there has been. This world needs less fast cuts and more quality content.

 trying to make that happen

Ive never been able to understand how these builders can accomplish such amazing lines in such short time! Also the stress of knowing your bud is risking his life on what you've created. Great job builders!

you can see how the finals bump fucked everyone up. could have caused a lot of the injuries we saw in finals. shit is just fucked up. redbull messed a lot up with the bump.

It poured from 6 pm that night until 11 am, with strong winds. Did they?

yeah, they did. people had to rush and build things, they had to force jumps, it wasn't natural and it wasn't slow and careful. they should have just called it off if the weather wasn't going to allow it, rather than have only the first full runs and only a few 2nd runs and then a guy lose his ability to walk.

Builders are the reason Rampage progresses so much every year those guys seem to get more and more done every year and make the riders more confident in what they are trying to achieve.

That's the best Rampage coverage I've seen. You can feel the stress and the drama. It really put the event into perspective. MORE LIKE THIS!
