Dudes of Hazzard Episodes 1 to 4

The Dudes of Hazzard started a few years ago when a friend and I thought it would be good to make a film for the Fort William Mountain film festival. We kept it pretty light hearted with some riding, comedy and general good times and the film went down really well. At the start of this summer it was time to start it up again and the original name stuck. Armed with a Flip mini HD camera, Myself, Liam Moynihan, James Shirley and Hannah Barnes along with other “dudes” from the Fort made a conscious effort to film the summer's proceedings. It's all the action from between the races, getting there, riding mid week and general banter along the way.

Check out episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4!Episode 1 begins in Fort William with the change between winter and summer and getting stuck into some of our favorite trails that had finally dried up from a wet cold winter. The speed walking world champs being a particular highlight.

Episode 2 and we are off to Europe in the land ship. Liam thinks it’s a good idea to ride all the way on the wee bike, we shower in water features, world cup racing, mini golf and single track action. A good start to a summer road tripping round Europe.

Episode 3 sees Ben Cathro and I picking up Steven Hughes for a wee trip out to some WC’s and we were looking in his garage and spotted a Honda 50 pit bike. Feck this. Out with the XC bikes and in with the pit bike. That was a lazy 3 weeks. Strictly no walking allowed. Just driving to the pizzeria in Val Di Sole for a bit of pizza pudding after our pasta in the van starter. Finishing with some filming from when Hannah(my sister) and I went to the mega for the first time to check it out.

Episode 4 - We finally get an editing program that can have sound and not just music. Back in the Fort after a good summer when Jesus brings some inspiration and keeps us amped for roosting fresh corners.
